« I liked the 2b/2b for the price, the cleanliness, unit amenities, and the view of pool and canal. I didn't like that i wasn't informed ahead of time that it was a 3rd floor walk-up, the 2nd bedroom was a loft with a spiral staircase to gain access, or that the laundry wasn't in the unit but in the next building. »

« Perfect getaway for two, one who likes to read and the other who likes to fish. Caught numerous large bass from the dock and the shore, along with a few catfish and crappie. The purple martin house was full of activity and fun to watch. Kitchen met all of our needs, but we also grabbed a few meals out. Tony’s Italian Deli and Bar-A BBQ were delicious. »

« I hesitate to leave such a negative review but feel that if I had read something similar to what I’m about to write, it would’ve affected my decision on renting this unit. This unit has a cockroach problem. The owner said that he has never had this problem before; however, I looked back at the reviews to see if I had missed any mention of this. Sure enough, it looks like the September 7th review of this unit also mentioned pests inside. I can confirm this, and there were also bugs on the balcony...

« Everything was as described. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The view over Lake Conroe was magnificent, especially the evening sunsets! The only downside was that the elevator was down, but that was disclosed to us at booking. My wife and I had no problems, but definitely wouldn’t work for someone who has trouble on stairs until the elevator is repaired. »
