The place was very noisy. People like to shout when they talk.
Our toilet was plugged, we told the staff but no action was taken.
We have to share toilet outside of our room.
The couple though were nice and pleasant. Very helpful though they cant speak English.
The amount I paid in Expedia did not match the amount I paid cash during check in.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Friendly staff/basic clean accommodations.
This is a backpacker hostel so the accommodations are very basic.
It is family run and the people are very nice and helpful. We were put into a room that we weren't too happy about....no window, except one that opens onto the main shared area, meaning no privacy. But it was only for one night so we weren't too bothered. We stepped out for a bit to explore Paracas and when we came back the kind owner offered us another room saying that we had made a reservation and she did not put us in the correct room. She showed us to a nicer room with a private bath and a window opening to the outside. We were much happier there and appreciated her offer to move us (we had not said anything to her about being unhappy in the first room).
They booked our Isla Ballestas tour which all went smoothly, and made breakfast for us before our departure (for an additional 10 soles each).
The accommodations are very basic but that is expected at this low price. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a kitchen available for guests.
