The kitchen is built for group cooking: marble countertops, a massive island with wine fridge, Sub Zero refrigerator, double ovens, coffee bar, and every appliance you`d need (blender, rice cooker, kettle, toaster). There`s a formal dining area plus island seating.

The living area features a wood-burning fireplace and Smart TVs. The owner`s suite has an oversized bathroom with double sinks, bidet, and a huge walk-in closet.

The game room has a pool table and ping pong table — great for rainy days or late nights.

Full access to the entire property — all 5 bedrooms, kitchen, game room, pool, spa, yard, and three-car garage. Keyless entry so you can arrive on your own schedule.

We`re available 24/7 via the app and monitor messages around the clock. For emergencies, we can be reached by phone. We also have a local team of specialists on standby for any issues that come up during your stay.

Jenkins Lake is just 1.6 miles away, offering fishing, kayaking, picnic areas, and scenic walking trails. Whether you`re looking to relax by the water or enjoy some outdoor activities, Jenkins Lake is a perfect nearby retreat.
Famous Apple Hill, Apple Hill Golf Course is approximately 2.8 miles or 18 minutes away, visit over a dozen wineries within a 20-minute drive.

A car is essential. Sacramento is about 1 hour west via US-50. South Lake Tahoe and Sierra-at-Tahoe are roughly 45 minutes east. Apple Hill wineries are 10 miles away, and Placerville`s downtown shops and restaurants are about 15 minutes.

Important — Winter Access: This property has a long driveway that can be difficult to navigate when it snows. A four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle is strongly recommended November through March. We have a snow removal company that services the driveway, but 4WD/AWD may still be necessary depending on conditions.

We charge a one-time pet fee of $100 per pet.

The pool and spa are not heated. The pool is serviced every Friday, and the technician will enter the yard unannounced. The landscaper comes periodically as well and may enter the back yard.
Parties/Noise: In order to respect the neighbors and our quiet neighborhood, we do not allow parties in the house. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No pool or spa use between 10:00 pm & 8:00 am.

Number of Guests: Maximum 10, including visitors who don`t stay the night, unless discussed with us. Please book with your full guest count. This is to prevent parties.

Check-Out: Check-out is before 11:00 am. Late checkout isn`t available; if you need more time, message us before your checkout day. Before leaving, please put used dishes in the sink, gather used towels, sort trash and recycling into the indoor bins, turn off lights and the AC/heat, and lock up.

Restrooms: Please do not flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet.

Smoking: Our house is a non-smoking home. No smoking or vaping of cigarettes or weed inside the house.

Candles: We do not allow candles in the home, this is a fire hazard.

Damage: We understand that accidents happen. We ask that you please let us know when something is broken so that we can replace or repair it. There is a stain remover under the sink in the kitchen for the carpet and bedding.

Pets: Up to 2 pets are allowed; please include them in your booking (the pet fee is charged at booking). Please alert us prior to your stay if you are planning on bringing along your pet. All pets must be fully potty trained, and not track mud or dirt into our home; please clean your pet`s feet if they are dirty/muddy prior to allowing them in the home. Pets are NOT allowed on any furniture, including the beds. Keep the bedroom doors closed that are not being used. No pets in the pool or spa. Please pick up after your pet in the yard. Please note that the pets are not to be left alone at the home.

Lost Items: Please do not forget anything in the home. We can not package and ship things that are left behind.

Cameras: We have a Ring Video Doorbell camera installed at the entrance for safety.

Utilities: We kindly ask that you switch off lights and turn off AC/heater when not in the home.

Garbage disposals are for small food residue only, not for disposing of food. Please scrape all food into the trash before rinsing plates.

Please do not unplug anything in the home. It is difficult for the next guest if lamps are unplugged, and there are items in the home that operate the door lock and doorbell. If you don`t know what it is, do not unplug it. Do not unplug the wireless router or modem or it will shut down the door lock and you may get locked out.
Wash any used dishes and start the dishwasher (we`ll put them away).
Start a load of towels (we`ll switch them to the dryer).
