Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung
Sehr schönes geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Apartment in ruhiger Lage. Die Bilder versprechen nicht zu viel. Die Wegbeschreibung und der Check-In waren vom Vermieter perfekt vorbereitet. Vielen Dank dafür Frédéric! Es gibt ein Gite Book in dem nicht nur alles um die Ferienwohnung herum ausführlich erklärt wird, sondern auch sehr gute Vorschläge fürs Einkaufen, Essen gehen und Ausflüge (Weinproben natürlich nicht zu vergessen) beschrieben sind. Wanderkarten und Bücher über die Region gibt es auch. Die sehr schöne und am Morgen sonnendurchflutete Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet und lädt zu einem ausgedehnten Frühstück ein. Einziger kleiner Verbesserungspunkt: die Pfannen sollten mal wieder ausgetauscht werden, da die Beschichtung schon sehr angegriffen ist. Es fehlt an nichts für einen schönen entspannten Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr geschmackvolle, großzügige und bestens ausgestattete Wohnung in hübschem Weinort. Sehr empfehlenswert der Bäcker im Ort. Sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Idealer Standort für Ausflüge zu Kunst und Kultur. Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt, gerne wieder.

Great apartment in a great region
Thank you for having us in your wonderful apartment. Despite on and off rain, our stay could not have been better. Even our two kids were happy to stay in, read, and play board games. Pommard is lovely— great walks in the vineyards, and Beaune is really a perfect town for a short vacation with so so many great places to eat and drink and so much to see. The trip really could not have been better. I have a feeling we‘ll be back sooner than later (if you‘ll have us again!).

Wir haben 4 Tage diese Ferienwohnung als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen mit unseren 7jährigen Zwillingen genutzt und waren von der location, der Lage und dem Dorf begeistert. In der Wohnung ist neben vielen nützlichen Details ein toller selbstgeschriebener Wohnungs- und Städteführer vorhanden, mit tollen Tipps. Ganz nette Gastgeber. Gerne wieder.

Excellent séjour!
Tout était très bien. Nous avons profité du gîte pendant 4 jours et nous serions crus à la maison. Il ne manquait rien. La literie était impeccable. Un seul bémol.... nous sommes arrivés le vendredi midi et avons dû faire la chasse aux guêpes qui ont dû se nicher dans une poutre du salon. Nous avons dû en ramasser et tuer une bonne cinquantaine. Nous avons eu le propriétaire qui nous a dit qu'une entreprise devait passer. Cela a un peu gâché le séjour malgré tout... Heureusement que nous n'avions pas d'enfants en bas âge car nous n'arions pas pu rester! J'espère que vous prendrez en compte notre souci et qu'un petit geste pourra être fait de votre part. Sinon nous reviendrons sans problème dans ce gîte.

Somewhere Special
The apartment is unique, combining centuries of history with every modern day convenience. Tucked away in a quiet corner of a delightful and pretty village, deeply embedded in the Burgundy winemaking country. We stayed for a week just after harvest time, when the whole village is bathed in the sensuous smells of fermenting grape juice. Pommard is only 4km from Beaune which is also bathed in history, and has all of the restaurants and shops you could need. There are also many other sights in the surrounding countryside, which the owner shares with you in a detailed guide.

Lovely spacious apartment in the village of Pommard. Lots of useful information provided about the wine tasting and other local attractions. The village is lovely and quiet, with lots of opportunities for walks or cycle rides through the vineyards. It’s also very close to Beaune too. Very good communication with the owner before arrival. Pommard perfection
A wonderful accommodation tastefully furnished and well-equipped with everything one requires. Location was great just a few minutes from Beaune with a bakery and restaurants and, importantly Château Pommard, within a couple of minutes walk. Having a secure parking space on-site was both reassuring and convenient. Communications with the owner were easy and timely. One of the nicest rentals of many we have stayed in France.

This apt is quite nicely appointed, very roomy for 2 people, the stairs weren't an issue for us at all, really only 1 full flight inside the apt and 1 full flight leading up to the front door of the apt. Fully equipped kitchen! Everything you need, great shower with plenty of hot water, comfy bed and pillows! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks to the host for this great home!

Wonderful apartment in wine country
This apartment in Pommard was a wonderful find and we had a great stay. The place is spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. It was very easy to feel "at home" here. There's a boulangerie that's little more than a block away and some excellent restaurants nearby. Beaune is a short drive away, although note that it's likely not close enough for you to want to walk there and back on a daily basis. A car is warranted if you plan to travel outside the village. The only real challenge of note has to do with the wifi - but it only applies if (a) you intend to work from the apartment, and (b) you need to make video calls. For video conferencing, we found the wifi speed to be inadequate. However, this was easily fixed by visiting the Orange store in Beaune and purchasing a mifi device (we bought an Airbox 4G+). Although it was a bit of added expense, it was well worth it to stay at this great apartment. It also completely addressed our internet challenge. Finally, we have to say that the property manager/owner was incredibly responsive and helpful, both prior to our arrival and during our stay. He kept in touch and made sure that we had what we needed for our time there to be pleasant. We would book here again without hesitation!

Instead, I would like to focus on the very friendly, informative and quick response I always received from the owner. This was very much appreciated! Then as soon as you arrive you immediately relax. We stayed in 3 places while in France and this one number 1! Wonderful, comfortable home located in a small village within walking distance (about 1.5 miles) of Beaune. Chateaux Pommard was our best wine tasting EVER and is a block down the road. We are looking forward to returning, but this time we will stay for a full week of relaxing and enjoying great wine.

Beautiful property in a lovely setting
This apartment is located in the small village of Pommard. It is very comfortably updated and furnished beautifully. We were able to walk to restaurants, and to the little bakery right around the corner. The bedroom is upstairs from the living area, which can tend to make it warm in the summer months. We were there in June, but we were able to manage well with the 2 fans that are furnished. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who can easily manage stairs and enjoys being in a pastoral village setting.

Thanks for your feedback. You're absolutely right to mention that the apartment is unfortunately not recommended for anyone who's having difficulties with stairs. The architectural review board for historical monuments would not allow us to get the full air conditionning in this 300 years old building, so we are happy that you found the fans useful. Fantastisk beliggenhed men meget slidt, mangler virkelig en total rengøring samt nyt køleskab
Vi har lejet lejligheden 3 gange indenfor de sidste 5-6 år, da den ligger centralt, der er parkeringsplads i lukket gård, hvor der også er plads til vores cykler. Lejligheden passer os rigtig godt både når vi er alene men også når vi er fire voksne. For to år siden skrev jeg til ejeren, at jeg syntes, han skulle forbedre standarden i køkkenet, da det er ganske sparsomt med køkkenudstyr, hvilket gør madlavning temmelig kompliceret. Alt dette var dog ikke ændret, da vi lejede ljligheden igen i år. Man betaler ret mange Euro for slutrengøring, vi er særdeles utilfredse med niveauet af rengøring, der var temmelig beskidt specielt i køkkenet men også i resten af lejligheden. Udover alle de mangler der er i lejligheden viste det sig at køleskabet ikke virkede.

Wonderful property and location. Enjoyed touring the area and visiting historic sites and towns
Beautiful and well-appointed apartment. Unfortunately the weather was unusually hot for this time period in late August. Since there are no air conditioners in the bedrooms, we were forced to sleep in the downstairs area and bought an extra fan to survive the nights. At this price point for this rental property, we strongly suggest that the owner invest in two air conditioners for the upstairs bedrooms, and only then would we consider returning here in the future.

I'm taking your point about air-conditioning but in the last 8 years that I have been renting out the apartment the fans provided appear to have been sufficient to cope with the temperatures experienced. It is unfortunate you did not contact my property manager about your problem as he is normally very responsive to guest's needs and I am sure he would have been able to assist you. Great Space in a very nice location
Property is as advertised, very spacious bright and clean. Overall rating is 5 but a couple of minor improvements would be great. Location is very convenient and secure. This is a perfect place to cycle out of for numerous rides. Recommendations: 1) Espresso maker is badly needed as the coffee maker is not quality. You will not find a good coffee in Pommard and did not find one in Beaune. 2) As this area is a foodie's heaven a few more cooking utensils would be very much appreciated - salad spinner, cheese slicer, etc... 3) Common outdoor area could use a charcoal grill

Über Auffahrt haben wir ein paar traumhafte Tage in "Les Epenots, Clos de Pommard" verbracht. Sowohl die Online-Reservierung, die Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Besitzer und abcbourgogne, die Zahlungsmodalitäten sowie die Anfahrtsbeschreibung inkl. Instruktionen über die Key-Box waren professionell. Die 2-stöckige Wohnung ist wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet mit vielen persönlichen Gegenständen der Besitzer, grosse Zimmer, eine lichtdurchflutete Küche, sämtliche Apparate wie Backofen, Toaster, Geschirrspül- und Waschmaschine sowie Mikrowelle vorhanden. Das Apartment war sehr sauber. Wir würden diese Wohnung jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank an die Besitzer, dass sie ihre Wohnung anderen Leuten zur Verfügung stellen.
