I wanted to say what a great holiday we had Zefi Tacki Demi and wonderful George. They made us all welcome and were amazing with everything. Breakfast was amazing choice and all homemade. The cleaners did a great job and also work every day, Cleopatra also worked hard in the kitchen. Demi have a fantastic wedding and long life to you both in your next adventure. The Staffwere extremely helpful and friendly and the facilities were excellent. We could eat in the bar by the pool, on comfortable loungers, or go to one of the gorgeous beaches nearby. It was walkable to the port with its wider range of restaurants and bars and shops.

Hotel a conduzione familiare ottime condizioni generali appena fuori dal centro in zona silenziosa e verde. Stanza comoda e pulita con bagno pulito e funzionale. Piscina nel giardino dell’hotel e solarium con lettini e ombrelloni tra alberi di agrumi e alberi di buganvillee. Colazione, dolce e salata, abbondante e variegata. A really nice little family run hotel where they obviously try hard to set high standards- and they pretty much succeed. A 20 minute stroll from the port where everything happens, there is also a decent beach within two minutes. The immediate road around the hotel is not particularly encouraging but fear not, the hotel is set in its own garden with flowers in abundance. A pool (quite deep) loungers and poolside bar gives all you need for a well earned rest. Breakfast is included with enough of the basics. Book a sea view with balcony to top it off.

It was perfect. Great location fantastic staff beautiful pool. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, our room had a great posit with wonderful breezes so no need for the aircon. Couldn’t have had a better stay.

Lovely hotel with great swimming pool. The owners were so welcoming and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Good breakfast and poolside bar. The area around the hotel wasn’t as attractive as some but within 10-15 minutes walk, there were some beautiful beaches. Our bedroom was spacious with a nice bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool and the sea.

Koselige Saga hotel
Lite, koselig og sjarmerende og personlig hotell. Veldig hyggelig famile som driver hotellet. Veldig koselig bassengområde med fint ogganske stort basseng. Alltid ledige solsenger. God frokost som kunne nytes ute ved basseng/bar. Fem min gange til rolig og fin strand og 20 min til sentrum. Butikk og resturanter i nørheten. Stort og rent rom med kjøleskap og kjøkkenutstyr. Gode senger. Fin balkong med flott utsikt. Minus for veldig bråkete airconditon. Ellers helt topp!

Friendly but not worth the price
The people who run it are amazing. They went out of their way to make us feel at home (and made sure to remember our names) however i was not impressed by the hotel. I honestly did not think it was worth what i paid for it. The AC made a weird noise the first night. The bedsheets were dry and the place felt more like an old B and B rather then a hotel. The wifi was also very weak. I’d have been happy if the hotel was about a 1/3rd of the price it is

Perfetta ubicazione a pochi passi dal centro di Poros e dalle spiagge principali dell’isola. Si trovano tutti i comforts per un soggiorno indimenticabile e con le dolci attenzioni della meravigliosa famiglia che lo gestisce. Pulizia impeccabile, ambienti profumati, piscina curata, terrazza con vista mozzafiato. We returned to Poros after 36 years and chose to stay at Saga Hotel based on various reviews and knowing the location was perfect for easy access to Poros Town and various beaches. We were not dissapointed; the hospitatility afforded by the owners, Zefi & Takis and their staff (particularly Stavroula) was first class. As a small Hotel, it offered everything you would want on holiday. Spotless rooms with lovely bathroom with Shower, a beautiful small pool and adjacent pool bar, good choice & quality of breakfast buffet but most of all the natural welcoming and friendly nature of Zefi, Takis, Stavroula and all. As you can see, we don't tend to return to places too frequently, but if we did we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Saga again. Judging by other guests we met, most do!

Perfect !
This was the perfect stay during my recent visit to Poros. It’s clear that running the hotel is a labor of love for the family - everything is run perfectly. I noticed a lot of little touches that differentiated the Saga from other hotels - for one, they had a sliding screen door on the balcony. This was great as it allowed me to keep the door open to get a breeze and not worry about bugs. They also had soft jazz music playing during breakfast. It’s things like this that make the Saga stand out. I stayed in many hotels during my 2 weeks in Greece, and Saga was hands down my favorite. The room was spotless and comfortable, the pool area was beautiful and clean, and the breakfast delicious (make sure to try the ‘bougatza’ if it’s on the table!).

Verbesserungswürdig: Komfort des Zimmers
Greit hotell til prisen , men mangler sjarm.
Et billig enkelt hotell som ligger litt utenfor havnen i et boligområde. Tar ca 10 min å gå til havnen hvor det er mange koselige restauranter og litt liv. Kommer du med fergen og har baggasje bør du ta en taxi som koster ca EUR 5,-. Skal du til en Ok strand tar det ca 20 min å gå, vil anbefale å leie en sykkel. Hotellet har et Ok svømmebasseng som trekker opp. På minus siden, litt dårlig frokost, dårlige senger og dårlig aircondition. Hotellet har også en fin takterrasse som har en fin utsikt. Vi bestilte sjøutsikt , men fikk rom i 1 etg, så utsikten uteble. Vil tro rom høyere opp på sjøsiden vil ha fin utsikt. Hotellet maste også om at de ville ha oppgjør i kontanter, noe vi følte ubehagelig. Alt i alt et Ok hotell til prisen, men mangler sjarm og ligger ikke så koselig til.
