The property is quite beautiful with lovely views of the lagoon, and the surrounding mountains. The first night we were there, there were a few deficiencies with our room, which were rectified the following day. Over all, our room, and I suspect the others need a refit/reno, which I believe they are in the process of doing. The staff were fantastic: Cordaline in the restaurant went above and beyond the call of duty. Devina who cleaned our room was fantastic and a joy. Monique in the front desk, who was just one of two front desk staff that I spoke with was wonderful. The food in the restaurant was also quite good, though our experience was limited. We ate breakfast every day, and I had ackee and salt fish with boiled banana and boiled breadfruit. It was excellent. My wife was happy to have fried eggs with hard dough, and she was happy. Our first dinner there was "okay". My wife was not pleased with her stewed chicken (she's Jamaican and knows how to cook stewed chicken). It was clear that it was a rush job. I had curried shrimp, and it was "okay". I informed the chef of our somewhat disappointed experience with the dinner, and he asked me to give him another chance with a fish dish, and so I obliged, and he delivered. We ad dinner there the last night. A word of caution: the road to the lagoon is VERY steep. Elderly, people in not so great health and people wot bad knees or bad hips would be advised to access the lagoon from the other side.
