« As usual (we stayed here last year) our 10-day stay was glorious. What a view! Perfect location. And the family operating the property are the most lovely people. We know where to stay the 3rd time we visit Whidbey. »

« Great place for people and dogs. Hosts are very nice and the place has great views and a walking path on the property. »

« We enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy and the hosts were very responsive. The property was clean and modern. The deck had a beautiful backdrop for pictures. Close to food. Kirkland's downtown area was about a 20 minute drive and that had a great vibe. Side note-traffic to/from downtown to here takes about an hour each way every time no matter the time of day. That was the only downside. Never have we been in such bad traffic. Now that we know this and can plan better, we would stay here again...

« My sister and I enjoyed our stay at the “boathouse”. The location is perfect and has a beautiful water view. Even though we didn’t cook, the kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals. Very clean and comfortable beds, we will definitely stay here again when visiting family. Property is as described and Susan responds very quickly to questions. »

« My daughter and I enjoyed staying here very much. This is a unique, well maintained, historic home. Local restaurants and food market are near by, within walking distance. Communication was very easy with the owner. »

« I loved this location! Laurie was a great host! Quiet neighborhood and located not far from Seattle, which is what i was looking for. She let me know I had left something and I was able to go back and get it. I spent quite a bit of time outside one the little patio reading in the evening and talking with chickens! »

« Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed and huge TV. Excellent communication with owner. Would recommend providing additional towels and a bath mat/towel. More places to hang up towels when wet. Also handrails for open shower. One guest has balance issues and the large shower floor was slippery when wet. Overall a great stay. Would recommend and would book again. »
