Beautiful getaway

Very cute cabin in remote setting. Nice place to stay and relax and enjoy nature. Great fire pit area for bonding with nature in the evening. Comfortable beds, furniture and full of kitchen supplies. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Would definitely stay here again

We had a wonderful time at this rental. It was super clean and the furniture and kitchen items were in great condition. If you plan to cook, bring your own spices, olive oil, etc. The only items at the house were salt and pepper and coffee filters. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of linens. We enjoyed the fire pit and the property. The first day the WiFi wasn’t working, but we communicated with the rental company (Vacasa) and they got it working again quickly. The finger lakes trail goes right along the road, which is great if you love hiking!

The cottage is tastefully decorated; located in the quite area away from noisy roads. We certainly enjoyed our stay: the location, the design, star gazing, and fire pit. Recommend improving heating system and adding backyard chairs.

Private and peaceful.

This well-built cabin was even nicer than pictures show. Very clean, nice linens, comfy beds. Nice large gated deck, perfect for the dog who likes to sunbathe. Great location close to wineries and Keuka Lake. The only improvement we would suggest is an outdoor grill and some deck chairs. We plan to return to this lovely property.

Great house. Great location.

We loved the house. It is beautifully styled & decorated. We appreciated many things that were provided. The location is perfect for relaxing and peaceful nights watching the stars & fireflies. It was very quiet. And it is within a short driving distance to the lakes and a grocery store or two. *Plan on purchasing water to drink and bring lawn chairs. We had a wonderful time and would come back.

Keuka getaway

A beautiful cabin located between Hammondsport and Penn Yan. The cabin is stocked with essentials to get you through your stay. The pond was a hit wth my boys. The cabin has a nice deck but no furniture to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The hot tube is also not functioning. Just a reminder water in this area has a sulfur smell but nothing you can do about it. Please note the property land management team is Vacaso so you will be charged a double processing fee if booked through VRBO!

Disappointing

Property had numerous maintenance issues. Slippery warped front steps, toilet leaks and runs constantly, bathroom sinks also leaks, shower door doesn’t close, not enough utensils-only 1 spoon, no pots and pans, no grill & no outside seating to enjoy the deck. The Adirondack chairs on dock are broken and dangerous with wood shards sticking out. The decor was nice and the vineyard was nice to look at and dryer works well.

Great place to stay

Loved the cabin inside. It was very clean and it was furnished nicely. Take your own water. The water smells strong of sulfur. We couldn’t use the fireplace which we would of liked to. Our dogs loved it there especially swimming in the pond. We loved the pond . We went fishing three times and caught and released 31 fish. We caught largemouth bass and perch. The outside was nice but needed to be mowed. Wished they would of had some outdoor furniture that was useable. They had a great deck to sit on and relax but again no furniture. I would definitely like to stay there again.

I'll first say, this is a great property, we loved the grounds and on a whole the cabin is very nice. We were staying to tour the fingerlakes, and I recommend this property if you need a quiet retreat to relax after running around all day. The living room was spacious and clean, and the bedrooms were cozy. We loved the cabin aesthetic, and it truely feels like a quiet getaway, as the area is beautiful at sunset and quiet at night.While at the cabin we did notice a few small things that need to be addressed; The wifi was not working (we entered the password, however the wifi would not connect with our devices or the smart TVs in the cabin). However if you're there just to relax at night this isn't too big of an issue as cell service is decent.The living room was clean, however some prior reviews note a large amount of flies living in the top most living room window- which was still true while we were there. While this didn't bother us too much and we're not there to stare at a window all day, these really do need to be taken care of. The bathroom faucet can spray water if not careful and the shower needs better waterproofing to avoid stepping out to a puddle. The grounds are gorgeous at sunset and great for star gazing. The chairs however needed to be cleaned of bird poo, and not sure why there's a dirty hot tub. TLDR; The property on a whole is beautiful and a great place to stay and we look forward to visiting again! A few beauty touches or updates are need

Description of property on your site is completely inaccurate. There are no trails. I’m sure there was when actually maintained. No fish in the “stocked pond”. You list a fireplace but a sign on it that states do not use. Can’t use because no gas. The hot tub advertised has no water in it. Who has a giant deck with no seating. The fire pit was almost all weeds. We will never rent from you again and I’m going to attempt to get a parcel refund

Secluded, serene property won us over. Pond NOT stocked, bring water!!

We loved the land and the natural setting. There was no human interaction if desired while staying here, very quiet except for nature sounds. Some things I wish we would have known...bring lots and lots of water. Cannot drink the untreated well water at this place unless you like chugging sulfur flavored water, also showering was not pleasant due to the smell. We used bottle water for everything and showered when it couldn't be avoided. The pond is NOT stocked. Not a single fish was in that pond so don't book if that is the selling point, which it was for us. The hot tub also not working (I would not have used it anyway but wanted to let others know bc they take pics of it as if it is an amenity to be used if you book here).

8/6/25: there's an outdoor table & chairs on the porch. There's a gas grill. The chairs by the firepit seem to be low quality (they were loose/wiggly & very lightweight). We didn't use them (we had brought our own chairs). There are pots/pans,dishes/cups/silverware, but if you plan to bake - BYO cookware/mixing bowls/measuring cups/spoons. There's a Dollar General less than 10 mins from the cabin, so if you need/forget to bring any more basic items, you can get them there. There are no tongs, etc to use on the grill, so BYO. There's a fan on the porch, which was great as the temps were in the 80s, but we could still sit outside & have a breeze/air movement. While we were there,the sulfur smell was very minimal. The ac units did a great job keeping the interior cool & comfortable. While the shower does have good pressure, be advised that if you are a bigger-sized person, the opening to get in is rather small. Once in the shower it has plenty of space. There are fish in the pond. You may have to be patient & switch up your bait/lures to get them to bite. My husband caught a bluegill, a couple perch, & a couple bass. Several small turtles were seen at the pond. Other wildlife we saw: deer, chipmunks, birds, caterpillars. There are not any really visable trails to walk on in the woods, but it is open enough to walk around in. The boundries of the property did not seem to be well marked (in our opinon) so you may not want to venture too far. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful serene getaway cabin!

We stayed at this cabin after our visit to Watkins Glen State park, and wanted a country cabin to escape to! This was the perfect place, you couldn't hear cars or other people (nor see anyone!). The home was spotless, and absolutely gorgeous inside while having all the comfy touches of a lived in space! The AC units kept the bedrooms cool, and we were able to enjoy steaming services on the TV in the late evening - the wifi was great! They have a firepit that we were able to use by purchasing local wood! The fireplace inside was disconnected from gas so it's not functional, which is probably also why the hot tub is not usable - which was no issue for us! As people have mentioned, the water has a slight sulphur smell. We did bring our own drinking water - however there is a water filter on the fridge and we found that it was totally okay to drink! If you're at all used to country water, the smell is not bad at all and the water is definitely clean! Water pressure was fantastic so the shower was great! There isn't a dishwasher, and you'll have to bring some of your own condiments (unlike some BNB stays) which is fine! The kitchen is stocked with most of what you'd need to cook in terms of pots/pans/cutlery. We'd definitely visit again!
