« Didn’t realize I was staying in the basement of a home where the Host family was so inconsiderate to the amount of noise that they were creating by stomping around for 3 plus hour on my first. Asked that they be more considerate and they stopped stomping around for about 20 minutes and the it continue until 11:30pm. The smells of the basement area were a little over whelming when I checked in and I was able to open a window. Sorry I’d couldn’t take the lack of consideration from the host...

« Such a gem to have near the trail! In a walk around the block my father and I made a new friend, a fawn under a tree near thr sidewalk. A doe leaving her fawn near the sidewalk to go forage is a HUGE indicator of how peaceful and quiet this neighborhood is. »

« We loved our stay. The home is well appointed-clean, secure, and welcoming. The bathrooms are modern, the beds comfy, and the family spaces, living and rec room/bar area were very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciate that kayaks and a canoe were available without additional fees. We also enjoyed the electric fireplace. Perfect spot for a multigenerational gat away. Highly recommend! »

« The location of this rental is great and communication with the host was awesome. We had a couple issues on the front end of our trip that he was very responsive and helpful with. There were lots of really thoughtful extras that we didn't anticipate but definitely appreciated. There was lots of space for our group of 10. The downside was that the listing wasn't clear that 4 of the twin beds are pop up frames with thin mattresses. They worked for the kids but it would have been more problematic...

« Summerhaven was a very cozy Up North experience, and the cabin is in a great location on Lake Lost and was very spacious and comfortable. Jeff was great host he was very easy to talk to and was available throughout the entire trip. The dock was easy to tie up our rental pontoon and we enjoyed our time at Summerhaven and Lost Lake!!! »

« Very private location. Right on the lake with a nice area between the house and lake. Cottage was perfect for the 2 of us and our dogs. Would like to stay again. »

« Very thoughtful house you can tell the owners still visit and care for. Excellent “vibe”. We had a great time skiing, sledding, and hunkering down during some cold winter days. »
