„Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might ...

„Bathrooms were tiny, had no mirrors and hot water did not work in one. Remote for one tv did not work. Lighting was poor in kitchen and dining room. Pull on one drawer was broken. Exposed wires in dining room. Cushions did not fit in living room. Needed better instructions for stove.“

„The house is a very short walk to the town center with stores, restaurants and pubs. I appreciated the large, private, off street parking lot. The inside is very clean and new, and had been recently updated. It felt very comfortable, like home almost immediately. Eileen was very communicative, and extremely welcoming (left us a couple of welcome gifts!) We cannot wait to come back to Killarney!“

The location was perfect for reaching multiple destinations from Cork to Kilareny both being about an hour in either direction. The local town has a rich history and is full of shops, pubs, and grocery stores. The hosts were very pleasant and offered useful suggestions and shared some great stories. Would definitely stay again. “
