Cette retraite confortable au bord du lac avec 6 chambres et 3 salles de bain peut accueillir jusqu'à 16 personnes. Elle est située sur le lac Upper Scott, à seulement 2,5 heures de Chicago et à 3 heures de Détroit. À une courte distance en voiture, vous trouverez les magnifiques communautés côtières du lac Michigan, à South Haven, Saugatuck et Holland. Explorez les nombreuses plages de sable fin, les dunes magnifiques et la vue époustouflante sur le lac qui se trouve sur la "troisième côte" des États-Unis.

Ce chalet entièrement rénové est joliment décoré avec le charme de la campagne, vous faisant sentir immédiatement à la maison. What a delightful spot!! Family vacation - 7 adults and 4 children. We had PLENTY of room!! The backyard is incredible and we enjoyed the fire pit every night. Leave electronics and worries at home Upper Scott Lake Retreat is perfect for a family get away.

Nice location, great outdoor space. Plenty of room for large groups. There wasn’t any air conditioning in one main floor bedroom, and it wasn’t working in the pink bunk room. Using the all the bedroom air conditioning units upstairs caused the circuit to trip.

Great Lake

Great property for a large group. We had 13 kids and adults. A couple minor problems and concerns. The smoke alarms went off on our first night, but not again. We have a granddaughter in a wheelchair and it was fairly tight in spots for her. The showers upstairs are tiny (all my kids mentioned this). The week we stayed it was really hot and there are only window air conditioners that kept blowing the fuse.

Family vacation

We have a family of 14 - 7 adults & 7 kids ranging in age from 16 down to 8. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The fishing was fantastic & the lake was quiet enough for even the youngest kids to kayak. The kids loved the game room & spent the chillier days playing pool & fusball. We hope to come back next year.

Wonderful Property

This house and property were perfect for our get together. It worked really well for multiple families to share the space. Plenty of options on-site for activities to keep everyone busy. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. There's a great orchard down the road, nice local businesses in Pullman, and close to the attractions in Saugatuck and South Haven! I hope we get to visit again.

Close to home for us and clean! Loved the beachfront, the whole family enjoyed everything this home had to offer! Many large fish caught, so close to the home. Where memories were made

This house was everything our family ranging in age from 65 to 15 months needed. From the spacious bedrooms & community spaces to the beautiful beach, it was great. Kitchen accommodated the whole family. Loved the 2 refrigerators and the amount of cupboard & counterspace. Communication was timely and issues resolved. I would say the only downside is not enough seating in the family/game room. We will be back to either this house or one of the other larger homes that is part of this group. Thank you for everything!

End of June Family Vacation

We were there to spend time together as a family. Six adults and 6 children. Kids ages 6-14. The kids loved, playing in the sand, kayaking, paddle boarding, playing in the lake and large yard. It was great for a family with children. We were able to all sit together inside and outside for meals and games. A couple of us enjoyed playing pool together. I liked that the TV/Pool room was off in another area. In the morning, the people that woke up early could sit in there and talk while everyone else was still sleeping. Also, the young children could watch a movie while the adults played a game. It's an older home and could use some updates. A review said there weren't enough places to sit outside. This is no longer a problem, we had plenty of seating, more than we needed or used. The window AC units made it challenging to get the temperature just right in each room, but we were able to make it work and spent most of our time outside on the deck or by the lake. We didn't use the screened in porch. The weather was perfect. It stayed light late so we would find ourselves up late at night. We only used the fire pit one time because it stayed light so late. The directions for getting a permit to burn were very easy to follow and posted with the general directions for the house. It only involved making a phone call. The setting was so private. We rarely saw anyone else on the lake or in the neighboring yards. We left with wonderful memories of our lake vacation.

Our lake stay was absolutely perfect! Such a peaceful lake. The property is as described in many of the reviews so we weren’t expecting anything fancy. The kitchen is quite small so meal prep was a bit crowded but we made it work. The outdoor kids toys definitely need replaced. Some were too dirty to use while others were surrounded by too many weeds. But the fishing was the highlight of the trip. Grandkids loved it😊

Family New Year's weekend

This house was the perfect size for our extended family of 10! Check in was easy and the house was clean. The game room was the perfect area for kids and for watching football. There are 2 refrigerators, perfect for bringing your own food. The dinning room table was the perfect size for a family dinner and for playing card games. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms.

Fall Weekend

Rented the house for a fall weekend in Michigan with family. Had kids ages 4-10 and they loved it. The house was perfect for what we were looking for, clean and the location was close to apple picking and pumpkin farms.

Great outdoor

The lake front is amazing. The 8 foot lake has been taken over by vegetation and the water is only clear about 4 feet from the beach. Boats and fishermen were having difficulty getting stuck in the vegetation. The swans were amazing and the water lilies were beautiful. Outdoor furniture and firepit were perfect. The house has been added on to many times. Upstairs showers are quite tight. The most concerning issue was the well water was very foul smelling and rusty. We were assured it was safe but didn’t use it for cooking, coffee or for brushing teeth. I would bring water for anything that is taken in your mouth. The house is partially air conditioned with some window units. The game room and 1 of the 1st floor bedrooms isn’t air conditioned . They do have fans. The bunk room upstairs A/C freezes and we were instructed to turn it off until it works again. One of the beds was not bolted and the wheel was off. We had to call twice because no one came after first request. Then after getting bolts attached realized the framing was only under half of the bed. The kitchen was well stocked but no can opener. We got one at the dollar general. Close to South Haven and Saugatuck. Could be a 5 star with a few thousand dollars.

Good for family

An older, quiet lake cottage with large yard for baseball, croquet, etc. The sand kept the youngest busy, while other kids spent a lot of time fishing. Kayaks and canoe were a success, especially since the swimming area was dominated by weeds. All enjoyed the large fire pit. The kids also enjoyed the two bunkbed rooms to bunk with their cousins, then four other bedrooms for the adults. Nice size pans for cooking for a crowd. Two fridges were a bonus. The stove burners would not sit flat though, and best to bring your own knives.

Great get away for the whole family!

We had a great time, and everyone in our group aged 6-68 said they would go back! The beach front is perfect for kids to play in the water or fish off the dock. There's plenty of room for everyone to eat and play board games, and the game room is situated so that games of pool or movies don't dominate the sounds of the whole house. Check in and out was easy and we didn't encounter any issues that warranted contacting management during our stay.

Phenomenal stay!

What a gorgeous VRBO. Me and my group had the time of our lives from morning to day. The property is gorgeous and fit all of us comfortably between each level. The backyard leading up to the water was the highlight of our trip along with the grass and ample room from deck to water. The communication from the team was quick and precise and never seemed to be bother with any questions I had. Thanks again!
