Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft. Unser Zimmer war tatsächlich so, wie es auf den Fotos aussieht. Wir waren begeistert von der Einrichtung, der Aussicht und der Sauberkeit des Zimmers. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Preise für Zusatzdienstleistungen (wie Getränke, Snacks und Abendessen) sind hoch.

Schöne Aussicht, klein und fein
Sehr nettes Hotel mit Stil. Kleine private Anlage mit toller Aussicht. Es ist möglich Affen, Tucane und Papageien zu sehen. Hotel liegt aber auch direkt an der Strasse. Die Restaurantpreise sind völlig überzogen, vor allen auch der Preis für offene einfache Weine ab 15,- us Dollar (incl. Tax) pro GLAS! Ein Lunchpaket mit 2 Sandwiches etwas Obst und 2 Wasser 35,- dollar plus 20% Tax - schade- sowas muss nicht sein!

Could be quite good, but...
No doubt, the view is great! From our room, as well as from the restaurant. But a few things we noticed that separate a reasonable hotel from a top hotel. Or did you ever have to go through the inventory of your minibar at check in with a hotel employee and confirm that it is complete? There are two coffee machines in the room, but no complementary coffee (unheard of). For the expresso machine, a capsule costs ridiculous 5 $... The restaurant is good, but pricey. On top of this, it was one of the few (or I think the only restaurant on our 15 days CR trip), where the prices in the menu did not already include Tax and Service. So this all leaves a bit of a taste that the place is run by a bookkeeper rather than a host.

Gutes Hotel mit Super Aussicht
Super Service und Lage aber leider sollte man langsam renovieren und das Hotel unterhalten. Das Sofa am eingang sollte ausgetauscht werden da es in einem schlechten zustand ist und rs einfach nicht in so einem Hotel passt. Würde aber das Hotel sofort weiterempfehlen.

Wir hatten das Penthouse 101 mit Blick ins Grüne und über die Bucht. Das Zimmer war leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Badezimmer war mitten im Zimmer integriert und die Toilette mit einer Western Saloon Tür abgetrennt :) Das Frühstück war im Preis inbegriffen und war o. k. Auf den Fotos im Internet wirklich das Hotel einsam und verlassen auf einem hohen Berg. Der Schein trügt. Der Strand ist in circa 5 Minuten zu erreichen liegen und Schirme sind gegen eine geringe Gebühr zu leihen. Ein kurze Weg durch den Wald zum Strand, durch eine Affen Famile und 2 Faultiere war sehr schön.

The location of the hotel was delightful, overlooking the Pacific at sunset, and the service was kind and trying to be professional. But the hotel is overrated and overpriced for the real experience value. Although the hotel appears to be elegant and chic, it lacks of real class and charm, it is quite kitch and overdone. The food is uninteresting and very expensive. With breakfast included they still charge for expresso, $6...

Fast perfekt.
Wunderschönes kleines Boutique Hotel, ruhig gelegen und nah zu den Stränden. Zimmer mit Blick über die Bucht von Manuel Antonio mit Balkon, Dusche und Whirlpool. Sehr bequemes und weiches Bett. Toilette und Ankleideraum separiert. Leider viel zu kleiner und (einziger!) viel zu niedriger Spiegel über dem Waschbecken, sodass man davor auf die Knie gehen muss. Dürftiges Frühstücksbuffet nur mit Reis und Bohnen, Eiern und ein paar Früchten. Sehr freundliches Personal. Mit ein paar kleinen Verbesserungen wäre es perfekt.

Der Aufenthalt war einfach nur gut!
Wir haben dieses Hotel gewählt weil wir ein super Angebot bekommen haben. Anstatt 270€ pro Nacht haben wir 75€ bezalt. Das Zimmer, Junior Suite, war nur gut. Riesen groß mit Whirlpool, tolles Bett, begehbarer kleiderschrank......das kleine Manko war das die Toilette hinter einer Salontür war. Man sah den jenigen nicht, aber ahlt offen! Der Blick der mit teilweise Meerblick beschrieben wurde war irgendwie ein vollkommender Meerblick. Keine Ahnung, ich fand ihn klasse. Normalerweise übernachte ich nicht in so Luxushotels, deswegen muss ich sagen waren wir begeistert. Der Pool ist auch klasse. Das Essen im Hotel bezahlbar. Hotel liegt komplett am Hang. Also ohne auto NICHT zu empfehlen. Es sei denn die Leute sind sehr sportlich und fit......

Ein Traum auf zwei Etagen mit Whirlpool!
Insgesamt der erhoffte Aufenthalt! Die Penthouse-Suite ist einfach der KNALLER. Alle Wünsche erfüllt!!! Lediglich das Abendessen war nicht adäquat zur Suite! Wenn ich schon erstklassig wohne... dann bitte auch entsprechendes Essen!

Gelungener Urlaub
Insgesamt war der Urlaub im Issimo Suites sehr schön. Ansprechende Zimmer, tolle Lage, aufmerksames Personal. Zu wünschen ließ lediglich das Essen. Das Frühstück war sehr überschaubar und die Abendkarte sehr knapp (4 Hauptgerichte) und sehr einfach gekocht. Nicht passend, wenn ich mir als 4Sterne Hotel sehr hohe Standards als Ziel setze!

Incredible views, friendly and attentive staff, delicious food served in the open air restaurant, poolside, or your room. Pool deck has a great view with plenty of areas to lounge in the shade, even while taking a swim. Very intimate and thoughtfully designed hotel, great for couples. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful location. Staff was amazing. Yvania at the front desk is the best concierge. Julia served my decaf espresso with foam every day with a super smile & friendly service. Food was great. Pool was perfect. The beds & pillows were comfortable. What a wonderful trip at Issimo Suites. I loved waking up every morning to the sound of Howler monkeys & many tropical birds. We even swam with the white face monkeys in the pool one day..... very carefully & from afar ;) It was an extra luxury to have the shuttle service transport us around at no charge. A special shout out to Jose, Geiner & Randall all who made the trip truly unforgettable.

Our recent stay at Issimo Suites was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the incredibly friendly staff. Their attentiveness and eagerness to assist truly enhanced the experience. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views that surrounded the hotel. Waking up to the lush greenery, ocean views, chirping birds, and abundant wildlife each morning was a treat for the senses. Whether lounging on the balcony or savoring a meal at the hotel's restaurant, the panoramic vistas never failed to impress. Speaking of the restaurant, we had the pleasure of dining there with a large group of 20 people one evening. Despite the unexpected size of our party, the staff rose to the occasion admirably. We ordered a variety of dishes from the menu, and every single one exceeded our expectations. The pool area was another standout feature. Not only was the pool impeccably maintained, but the temperature was absolutely perfect throughout our entire stay. Whether we wanted to take a refreshing dip or simply soak up the sun poolside, it was the ideal spot to unwind and relax. Plus, the poolside cocktails (especially the mojitos) were delicious. Overall, our time at Issimo Suites exceeded all expectations. The combination of friendly staff and stunning views made for an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a paradise retreat near Manuel Antonio.

Stayed 2/27 through 3/1. So Ill say thay having left a luxury resort in La Fortuna to come here was an experience. This is a boutique hotel, it is important to keep this in mind and understand that it is not a luxury super resort. What this hotel lacks in modern and luxury accommodations, it more than makes up for in its tranquil location, proximity to wildlife and incredible views. Check in was super easy and Gustavo gave us a welcome drink and showed us to our room. Dinner the first night was fantastic, and there is a good drink variety. Breakfast. Ill be honest, dont have high expectations. The first breakfast was sausage (hot dog) and ham (a slice of ham). Eggs were great and juices and fruit fantastic. Our room. The bed was VERY firm. Cold AC, fully stocked fridge. Im comfortable around my wife but the shower is completely exposed, facing the bed. I didnt like that. Had an enclosed toilet but no ventilation. Endless wildlife, monkeys, macaws, etc from your balcony. Tons of restaurants and things to do in walking distance, or for $4 cab ride of you dont like the heat. Overall 5/5 but Im only allowed 1500 characters on this app.

The view from our room was spectacular! So beautiful! The service was outstanding! Geiner gave us incredible service. Julia took care of us for breakfast which was outstanding. Eddy, Jorge Luis, Jonathan & Manuel were outstanding Chefs. Ana & Monica gave us incredible massages. Francisco arranged our tours. He and Ivania, Randall & Gustavo gave outstanding service too! We Love this place.
This was our fourth or fifth time at Issimo. This particular trip was for out 10th wedding anniversary. I proposed at this hotel, so we wanted to return. Issimo never disappoints.

A few days in Quepos!
Being October, this was the slow season! They made sure we didn’t want for anything! Food was great. We caught mahi mahi fishing and they prepared it for us awesomely!! The rooms look out into jungle so we could see lots of birds and monkeys. The balcony is really nice for watching the wildlife!

The restaurant staff is absolutely incredible and friendly and the chef's food is delicious! It was the best food we had during our stay. The views from the property are amazing. Here you will be able to see monkeys, toucans etc. There is a beach not to far from the hotel. The shuttle is a bit limited, it takes you to the entry of the beach (it is accessed by walking through a short trail) and the main street which you then also have to walk towards restaurants. Walking down to Manuel Antonio Park is doable but requires walking about 45 minutes up and down steep hills. Really our enjoyed our stay and would come back

The entire staff was amazing. From check-in to check-out we were treated with respect and honor. They bent over backwards to take care of ALL our needs. When asked to assist us, their response was NEVER, "we will check on it." It was ALWAYS, we will have it for you in short order. Amazing Hotel. The wife had a massage and said it was the BEST she had ever received. This hotel is for those who want to be treated like a ROYAL.
