„Sehr gutes Frühstück. Sehr nettes Personal. B. Bath“

„ The stay was altogether just bearable. The staff was very friendly. For example I arrived with my motorbike and immediately I was advised to Park it on a safe spot. However, the facilities of the hotel were below the expected standard, even for a simple, not fancy hotel. The most important thing was the condition of the bathroom: there was obviously a leak from the Second floor which had not been fixed. Over humidity had damaged a big part of the bathrooms ceiling. „The staff were welcoming and professional, all needed info given for a smooth check-in. However, the room was very run down with flaking paint, mould, stained carpets and walls. Bed was very soft and tired, like everything else. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Hairs and toothpaste visible on the sink and a a very dirty toilet. I knew the room was cheap, but if I'd known the level of the accommodation, I would have paid the extra to go elsewhere.“

„Great little b&b , host accommodating for an early breakfast. Plenty of restaurants nearby.“

„Lisa was very thorough and explained everything. She also suggested me the good restaurant and places to visit. Enjoyed my stay“

„Really lovely stay - friendly staff in a small pub in Combe Down open for evening meals during the week, and open for lunch onwards at the weekend. We had a lovely welcome, preordered breakfast for the next morning which was really delicious, and was shown to our room upstairs. A lovely view of the white horse in the distance and a comfy bed, with lovely furnishings. We would stay again.“

„Terrific staff, very kind and friendly. Free breakfast was good, restaurant was great for dinner. Big room with big bathroom, nicely updated.“

„A very lovely B&B. You can feel the owners dedication and love to detail in every corner. That was by far the best stay I‘ve had so far“

„Really lovely stay. Traditional feeling pub in beautiful location. Food fantastic and breakfast absolutely worth adding on“

„The Rose and Crown was an absolute delight. The property was so sweet, the room clean, cute and comfortable. The location excellent, close to Bath but a quiet oasis out of the hustle and bustle. The food at the pub was delicious and well valued. Would highly recommend.“
