Surrounded by oaks, pines, natural boulders, and private trails, this 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home sleeps up to 14 guests. Soak in the hot tub beneath the trees, gather around the fire pit, explore the seasonal stream, or spend the evening in the 700 sq ft game room—all without leaving the property.

The Home

The home has a comfortable, relaxed mountain style and is thoughtfully arranged for group stays. Spacious gathering areas and easy indoor-outdoor flow make it simple to share meals, enjoy activities, and spend meaningful time together.

Sleeping Arrangements

The home sleeps up to 14 guests when all beds and fold-down couches are used.

Primary Bedroom: King bed and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower

Bedroom 2: Queen bed, fold-down couch bed, and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower

Bedroom 3: Two queen beds

Bedroom 4: Double-over-double bunk bed and fold-down couch bed

The home has three full bathrooms, including private ensuite bathrooms in the primary bedroom and Bedroom 2.

Good to Know

This is a peaceful rural property best suited for guests who appreciate nature, privacy, and a slower pace. The mountain environment includes natural and uneven terrain, seasonal wildlife, and changing outdoor conditions.

All overnight guests must be included on the reservation. Day visitors require advance approval and are subject to additional fees.

Early check-in and late checkout may be available for an additional fee, depending on the reservation schedule.

Mountain Retreat offers the privacy of a secluded nature escape with wineries, outdoor adventures, and San Diego attractions close enough for memorable day trips.

Guest access
You will have access to the surrounding 8 acres of hills, meadows, oak trees, huge boulders and private hiking trails.

Other things to note
The home can sleep up to 14 guests with a mix of Adults and Children. (Maximum of 10 Adults) This assumes shared beds as there are 6 beds and 2 sofa sleepers.

Our beautiful mountain home is valued for it peace and serenity in the evenings. The property is located next to a campground and our quite times mirror the campgrounds rules regarding quite times being between 10pm and 6am. We do not allow music or loud conversations outside during these times.

Smoking is NOT is allowed on the property. A minimum fee of $500 will apply if this rule is not followed. We are located in a wooded area and there is high fire hazard. As such, our policy has to remain strict.

This is an eco friendly home surrounded by nature. There is wildlife in the area and that includes some of the following: Coyotes, bobcats, racoons, squirrels, snakes, bugs, birds. It is important to clean up left over food both inside and outside of the home as it can attract critters and pests.

A Cheeky Heads-Up for City Dwellers:
This isn’t your cement jungle city Airbnb, and we love it that way! Our Mountain Retreat is a true nature home, where coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, squirrels, and yes, even ants, spiders, and the occasional snakes are part of the charm. We keep the interior spotless with top-tier (eco-friendly) cleaning products for your comfort, but outside? It’s a wild, wonderful jungle! If a rogue bug or critter sighting makes you squeamish, this might not be your vibe. But if you’re ready to embrace the wildlife, and trade city lights for starry nights, you're our ideal guest and we would love to host you!
