« Would've given 5 stars except that the location, while breathtakingly beautiful and beholden to a sunrise that will leave you breathless, the location is HOT. Ramona is 20°F hotter than San Diego, despite being only 40 min away. And everything is 40 min away via winding mountain roads. The property is amazingly spacious and met all our needs. The pool was beautiful, and the pool table was fun. Extra fridge in the garage allowed us to get a weeks worth of groceries. Special props to the host...

« Comfortable, delightful country house on acres of property. Quiet and peaceful, they have almost everything you would need, minus actual groceries. There was even a pair of binoculars we used to supplement the telescope we brought for stargazing. The hot tub was a hit with all of us. »

« This place is a quiet little gem. All you hear are the birds chirping outside. There was homemade banana bread in our room and cold water in the fridge after a very long drive from Phoenix.. their backyard is like an oasis in paradise. You can swing and listen to the trickle of their fountain while looking up at the palm trees.. you honestly could just have a private getaway without going to the beach. « I cannot say enough good things about our stay! The house itself was relaxing, set up so well, well decorated but not over the top. Paul and Erika had everything set up perfectly for our comfort. They could obviously foresee our needs and exceeded them! The neighborhood felt very safe. The listing says "dog friendly" but there was no dog smell/hair- it was super clean. They had plenty of books and toys to keep our little ones busy so we could unwind. The backyard was lovely and so great to have...

« As the description suggests, this is a tiny little house. Kitchen is good for pre-made food brought in to store and eat. Bed is comfy and the place had everything we needed for a couple of nights in Julian. »

« Absolutely beautiful property just outside of Lakeside, CA. We selected this location due to it's proximity to my cousin's condo, and it was perfect. House was immaculate, beds were comfortable, and everything was as described! We couldn't have asked for nicer hosts. »

"Amazing view when you book the beachfront room which I highly recommend. The hotel is well located with walking distance to restaurants and stores. Amenities could be revamped a bit but the location and view would make me go back anytime. Note: take into consideration resort fees and parking fees that will apply"
