This is just a day trip from Port Blair (Andaman) to a popular island called Baratang, that goes via the restricted access Jharawa forest (named after one of the oldest tribes of Andaman). This is a beautiful walk over a wooden pathway in between the mangroves and lush green trees towards the limestone caves. Tip: rent a cab, start early morning at 3am as you need to go through check post that opens at 6am with a long convoy of tourist vehicles. Ride through the forest is an amazing experience. Remember not to click any pictures in the forest nor to stop your vehicle as it isn’t allowed for safety reasons. The tribe could be dangerous sometimes. After a 3hr ride, you need to take a ship that runs at scheduled times.
Half the fun is the journey towards these magnificent caves. The drive in a convoy through the reserved forests (spotted tribal people), the vehicle ferry, the speed boat on which you cross a narrow creek and then finally the picturesque 1.2 km trek till the caves.

HĂŽtel superbe avec de grandes et belles chambres .. le parc avec les cocotiers est juste magnifique et la mer splendide.. la plage mĂ©rite d’ĂȘtre nettoyĂ©e !!! Beaucoup d’ordures sur le cĂŽtĂ© gauche ce qui n’ai pas trĂšs beau et Ă©cologique !!!! J’ai ramassĂ© moi mĂȘme Ă©normĂ©ment de plastique !!

grosse déception
trÚs cher par rapport aux peu de commodités,pas d'eau chaude,chambre grande mais sommaire,hÎtel à rénover, restaurant trÚs bon cependant et personnel adorable
