« Pauline the owner was very accommodating. The place was clean, and off the beaten trail, so very quiet. We will be back. Only thing I would add is a grill for our stay. There was a dish washer to use, which was great. And wood there for a fire. Bonus! »

« Wonderful place! Everything was exactly as described. The cabin was perfect for 5 teenage girls and two adults. We had a good balance of “chilling out” and taking in the UP. There was plenty of space for the girls to spread out. The location was perfect - just over an hour to Pictured Rocks and less than 20 minutes to the beaches in Gladstone and Escanaba. « Charlie was a great host. He was very accommodating. The house had everything you needed. From activities to the well stocked kitchen. The only thing you need to bring is your food. The lodge runs on solar power but honestly you wouldn't even know, it really didn't effect how we went about the day. There is so much to do there that I never heard my 4 grankids say I am bored. As for the 4 adult children they constantly were entertained by what the lodge had available. We never left the property...

« The house was great for our family group of 13. We played several rounds of golf next door, basketball, table tennis, and pickle ball with the net and paddles we brought. Enjoyed the beach at Fayette State Park and the glass bottom boat tour over the shipwrecks. »
