This hotel is located directly next to the Reading Airport. We came to Reading to see a show at the planetarium and it took us about 15m in light weekend traffic to get there. We located a cluster of fast food, restaurants, a wawa and target a little less than 15m away (have to get back on a highway for an exit) off of Broadcast Rd.
The hotel itself was worn around the edges, our sink was cracked and the bathroom just had a tired look about it despite it looking like they tried for some updates. The soda machines on both the first and third floor were out of service but it looked like you could purchase some drinks near the check in desk. The staff was friendly.
We had a nice sunset from our room but the windows were a bit cloudy. Other than the very heavy coffee table that needed either rollers or sliders because it was a lot for a guest to push out of the way to get the sofa bed out, our room was nice enough. Not the best, not the worst but I did expect a little better for over $200 a night.
The breakfast was the most impressive thing the hotel had to offer. Cheese omelets, turkey sausage, biscuits with the option of gravy, bagels, cinnamon buns, fruit, yogurt with a great selection of condiments. Even with a crowd food was refreshed quickly. The line was too long for the pancake machine which was a bummer but it was a cool concept.
