Only one (of two) working and it was either so slow or full of cleaning staff with huge piles of linen on very small trolleys. So I walked up and down fire stairs to my fourth floor room. My room was cleaned once in 4 days which makes me wonder what all those cleaning staff did! The front reception staff need...

« The Bookhouse is a wonderful concept! Prioritizing books, making them accessible everywhere, is delightful. There were adventurous and playful touches, including the secret hide-away on the first floor, behind a bookcase. Housing a hotel in a very old house is another terrific choice. The restoration process is clearly in progress; it's understandable that it's a long-term project. Drawbacks were largely fixable. « This disgusting dirty hotel (can't really call it that!) is a disgrace! Looks like the rugs haven't been cleaned in years! No plastic cups in the bathroom to use and when asking the clerk at the desk he couldn't find any anywhere! The idea of a light breakfast is a joke! The soda machine takes your money but didn't dispense any soda! Called a studio with a kitchen, but no plates, silverware, pots or pans or anything to use or cook with! I would never recommend this place to anyone! »
