The overall cleanliness was good, the first night check in was good, with the exception of the houseless people outside. I understand this is out of the hotels control but maybe have someone greeting guests at the door. Make people feel more comfortable. I have worked with houseless individuals so I am more understanding but many people may not be.
I struggled to get in contact with reception from my room. They were constantly busy and couldn't take the call. Although two small bottles of water were supplied, reception had no means of filtered water available for guests. I left something in the fridge and it took SEVERAL calls to finally get answers. I was told to call next morning to speak with a manager but no manager was ever available. I was told a manager would call me back but this never happened and I had to call several times to speak with someone. It did get resolved but took a lot of time and hassle on my end.
