Not far outside of the Siberian city Krasnoyarsk you find the nature park Stolby. Famous for its rock formations it’s also nice for just sitting and enjoying the views. It might get a bit cold in winter though ;)
Almost halfway between Novosibirsk and Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk is a nice city to leave the train and walk around for a day. Maybe not very beautiful but there's plenty of nature to explore (like Stolby park) near the city.
