The balcony: set with outdoor furniture, it looks south and takes in both the green hills of Rethymno and the town itself. It is the place for a slow breakfast or a glass of wine at the end of a beach day.

The location: the main sandy beach of Rethymno is about 700 m away, an 8-10 minute walk. A supermarket (about 240 m), a pharmacy (about 260 m) and cafes (about 350 m) are closer still, and the building has an elevator.

The equipment: well fitted for a compact studio, with a kitchen with oven, stove, fridge, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, a dining table, air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, TV and an in-room safe. You let yourself in with a code, so there is no key handover to arrange.

The space: the studio has 1 queen bed with a quality mattress, a small sitting area that opens onto the balcony, the kitchen and clothing storage. There is 1 bathroom with a shower, with shampoo, shower gel, body soap and a hair dryer. It sleeps up to 2 guests.

Practical: bed linen, towels, an iron and ironing board, a drying rack and cleaning products are provided. Longer stays are welcome.

The whole studio is yours alone: the living and sleeping area, the kitchen, the bathroom and the balcony, reached through a private entrance. The building has an elevator. Check-in is self-service: you enter with the codes we send you after booking, from 16:00 to 23:00. Check-out is by 10:00.

You check in on your own, and we are available by message throughout your stay. We are glad to share tips on beaches, tavernas and day trips around Rethymno - just ask whenever you like. If a problem arises, message us and we will do our best to sort it out as soon as possible.

Urban Beach Sun is in a residential building in Rethymno town. The main sandy beach is about 700 m away, an 8-10 minute walk. Everyday essentials are closer still: a supermarket about 240 m away, a pharmacy about 260 m and cafes about 350 m. The nearest doctor is about 2.3 km away.

The beach (about 700 m) and everyday shops are reached on foot. If you come by car, there is free street parking nearby. Chania airport is approx. 65 km away and Heraklion airport approx. 80 km; Chania port (Souda) is approx. 55 km and Heraklion port approx. 80 km.

Good to know before you book:
This is a compact 23 m² studio with 1 queen bed, for a maximum of 2 guests. Unregistered guests and visitors are not permitted.
Check-in is from 16:00 to 23:00 with a code; check-out is by 10:00. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability - please ask in advance.
Quiet hours are 14:00-18:00 and 23:00-08:00. This is a residential building, so please keep noise down, especially on the balcony.
No smoking inside; smoking is allowed on the balcony only.
Pets are not allowed. Parties and events are not permitted.
A valid ID or passport is required for each guest, as required by Greek law.
The balcony looks towards the hills and the town, not the sea.
Free street parking is available nearby.
