Das Frühstück war, wegen Corona, sehr schlecht. Das Personal gab sich aber Mühe das auszugleichen. Da hatten andere Hotels auf Island bessere Konzepte.

Das Hotel hat KEINE Parkplätze
Ich habe das Hotel gebucht aufgrund der auf Hotels.com beworbenen "Parkplätze ohne Service auf dem Unterkunftsgelände (22 ISK pro Tag)", diese gibt es aber nicht. Als ich beim Einchecken fragte wie ich auf die Parkplätze des Unterkunftsgelände komme welche 22 ISK pro Tag laut Hotels.com kosten, wurde mir gesagt, wir haben gar keine Parkplätze und in Island gibt es nichts was 22 ISK kostet. Die Dame beim Ausschecken war zum Glück freundlicher, entschuldigte sich, dass es falsch angegeben ist und wollte es sofort ändern (aktuell werden die Parkplätze auf Hotels.com aber noch beworben). Die Parkplätze kosten leider 370 ISK/h an der Straße, sodass deutlich mehr Parkkosten entstanden sind als geplant war. Ganz sauber war das Zimmer leider auch nicht, mehrere Haare neben dem Schreibtisch und Dreck an den Fliesen des Bads. Das Zimmer war jedoch gemütlich, die Betten sehr bequem, das gesamte Personal bis auf die Dame beim Check in nett und dass es Baulärm geben würde stand auf Hotels.com.

Hotelzimmer sehr kalt trotz dass die Heizung auf Stufe fünf war den ganzen Tag, Shampoo etc. wurde während unser Aufenthalt nicht aufgefüllt, nicht mal die Wasserflaschen obwohl man weiß in Island ist das Trinkwasser so gut wie umsonst.

Nice place, clean and comfortable. Centrally located downtown. No parking on site, although we found a paid parking garage nearby. One thing I loved about our weeklong stay in Iceland was the inclusive breakfasts everywhere we stayed. This hotel did not offer that, but they did have food on site and nearby available for purchase,

The property itself is fine and has a good cafe and restaurant connected. Location is excellent. The issue is they provide very few amenities and you have to constantly ask for more shampoo or toilet paper or clean cups bc they don’t provide new ones on a daily basis. They need better housekeeping and also seem too busy so don’t often answer the phone for requests.

Nous avons choisi la chaîne radisson blu car nous avons déjà séjourné dans leur hôtel et n’avions jamais été déçu. Nous séjournons dans la chambre 320 qui est très bien (équipements etc…) mais a un gros problème de remontée d’odeur via la canalisation. Nous avons informé la réception qui nous informe ne rien pourvoir faire… (changer de chambre aurait été un début mais soit…) Nous sommes très déçus car cela cache notre séjour.

We are terribly sorry to hear that you did not have a satisfactory experience while visiting our hotel and problem with odors.Unfortunately, we could not offer another room, but our housekeeping staff did their best to resolved the problem in a short time. I am very sorry that we did not manage to meet your expectations during your stay with us and I understand how frustrated you must feel. I want to apologize for the inconvenience you experienced and I hope that our complimentary upgrade to a Junior Suite and complimentary breakfast on the first morning on your current stay will make your stay comfortable and that we manage to provide you the service you expect.
