Cabanes à Rhayader

« We visited for a mini break in the first few days of 2026, looking for a peaceful location to consume the final cheese and port from Christmas and set up our intentions and plans for the year. The lodge is beautifully set on the site, and feels very luxurious. Underfloor heating and the hottub were invaluable as the snow arrived! A lovely location to explore Elan Valley and the dams, and the recommendation of The Crown Inn was spot on for lunch. »

« We really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and cosy. Checking in and out was easy and all the information we needed was provided beforehand. There is a handy guide to use upon arrival about the accomdation and area. It was lovely to be able to have our dogs there and it had plenty of space for them to run around. »

« Having stayed in a shepherd hut last year, we booked 2 pods for a family stay and it was as wonderful as the first. The pods had everything we needed and was comfortable and warm. We would definitely stay again. »

« No one in shop or office to report issues to, I txt the owner on Friday morning & they didn’t even open it until after we left on Saturday morning. No bathroom lights working, no outside light by hot tub and no covering over it to protect from weather/trees, so it was not used. No heating for night time so the hut was really cold, it was a good job I took extra bedding. »
