„Everything about the Swanendele Inn was exceptional: the location, the accommodations, the facilities, the decor, the hosts, and, not least, the breakfast. In fact, you could spend several days just exploring the remarkable antiques and artifacts around the place. „We had a milestone birthday to celebrate in our family and decided to really treat ourselves to renting this lovely home only 2 hours from DC. It was absolutely perfect in every way. Water views---spectacular!! Spent the entire weekend with family and a few friends in the pool, hot tub, playing outdoor chess by the pool, kayaking, biking, fishing....just sitting and watching to gorgeous wildlife (Eagles/Ospray/Blue Herons/Egrets....bluebirds/kingfishers/cardinals! „The house was really nicely done and clean, with entertainment for everyone. We enjoyed relaxing on the beach (water had too many sea nettles), and fishing. We crabbed and fished on the lake in back of the house on the pier and used the 2 kayaks that were available. It is a remote private location, and we enjoyed every minute of our time there.“
