We did lots of sight seeing and hiking in the Telluride/Ouray area. Staying in Ridgeway was perfect for us. The house is wonderful. It’s clean, has everything we needed, with plenty of room for everyone to be together but yet have their own space. The game room was also fun. The views all around the property are hard to beat. We loved our experience and would love to stay again someday. Highly recommend!

Open, spacious and off the road gives it a private feel. Located close to Ouray and telluride, we throughly enjoyed the place. No air conditioning so it was a little hot when we first arrived. Peaceful Getaway Spot

What an incredibly beautiful and QUIET property!!! We were shocked by the level of quiet and very grateful for the opportunity to truly enjoy beautiful sunrises and listening to nothing but nature for the week. Our pups absolutely loved the chance to roam the property (supervised of course given there are bears in the area). The home itself was spotless and clearly well tended to. We'd absolutely love to stay here again when in the area.

Peaceful stay in a beautiful location

The home was just as advertised: beautiful views from almost everywhere, very peaceful and quiet location. Just a few minutes down the mountain are two great Mexican food spots (Agave Azul and Gnar tacos). We were able to have groceries delivered via Instacart so we had everything we needed right when we arrived. Total of 3 couples stayed and had plenty of room for everyone.

Thanksgiving Retreat

This property is beautiful. It feels incredibly private, and yet it isn't hard to get to a store. The stars at night were gorgeous, and we had deer right outside our door most days. The kitchen was well appointed, which was good because we cooked a full thanksgiving meal there. The beds were comfy, the fireplace was fantastic, there was plenty of room, AND our furry family members were welcome. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything about this house was fantastic! The awesome views are impossible to capture in a photo. The area is unbelievably quiet and beautiful. The host thought of everything for a comfortable stay, from plenty of towels and blankets to a FULLY stocked kitchen. The communication, responsiveness, and cleanliness were all top notch as well. Thank you so much for hosting my family! I can't say enough good things!

Perfect ski trip

You cannot beat the views, waking up every morning to the sun peaking over the mountains was absolutely amazing! The home was absolutely stunning. We had 2 families traveling together and with the size of the home we were never cramped! The host was super helpful leading up to the stay when we were packing. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the small appliances you could possibly need. The washer and dryer was another star of the show. With so many people, we ended up using the washer and dryer more than imagined. Overall this was a perfect home for a larger group of people!

The rooms are cozy, big couch makes for an easy hang and the view is just stunning. Close enough to town that you can go back and forth without much trouble.The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, responsive and kind. The little details of a fresh sponge and dish towel are things a lot of places just dont think of.

Weekend trip

This is a great location if you’re hopping between Ouray, Telluride and Black Canyon of the Gunnison as we were. It’s tucked in there but how else would you get that view! Great communication from management about property. Deer were plenty. And you have anything you need for cooking, laundry, etc. Only thing I’d note is in a prior review they mentioned a dog might have urinated on rug and the master definitely had that smell on the rug and in the bed. We quickly washed the sheets and snagged some febreeze in town. We didn’t reach out to management as we were on the go a lot.

Great Views and Secluded

The property is awesome and I will look to rent again. The views are expansive and include about 240 degrees of continuous Mountain View’s. It is very close to The Divide Golf club which we played twice and it is definitely something to do if you like to golf. Ridgeway is a very cool town and we decided that we prefer staying outside of Ouray. Overall, the place was perfect. If I had to recommend something to improve upon would be to provide a dark curtains in the master bedroom. Even though they are dark, the sun beamed through so we were woken up at 0630 every morning, but how can you be mad when you are looking at that gift over the mountain tops. Also, possibly some signage about conserving water since they are on well and cistern water. We had a running toilet that we took care of that caused some wasting of water but the property management company was excellent at responding to our requests. Seriously though, my whole family absolutely loved our stay there.

Fabulous Fall Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of three adults, four Seniors and two dogs had a phenomenal two week stay in this home. The deck views of the Cimmaron Range are unmatched. The home layout is superb for a mid-size group with spacious areas for preparing and eating meals or watching Saturday football. The home had every kitchen utensil or appliance a group could need. Special perks included the instant hot water dispenser, heated floors throughout, heater for the griller and tablecloth for the picnic table. The large dumpster was appreciated as well as we ate most meals during our stay at the home vs out and about. There was plenty of parking for our three SUVs and even one surprise duo for a couple of nights. The Fall colors the first two weeks of October were amazing on our drives to Telluride, Ouray, Silverton and up Owl Creek Pass.

Reviewer Comments: This isn’t a fully negative review but for the amount paid, a few things were disappointing. To start, one minor disappointment was that the floors in the owners suite still had some spots of dog urine on the tile and rug from the dog or dogs before. Also, make sure you read the listing carefully because there isn’t air conditioning. We didn’t receive the info from management as how to properly vent the home until the day we checked out. In the dessert it did make for very hot nights. One of the main selling points was the game from for us and another small inconvenience was that the outlets up there didn’t work and it was very hot without air. We did contact management regarding the electrical issue, however it wasn’t resolved even after someone supposedly came to fix it. There was no further communication from them. Also, one day the home owners randomly showed up to do yard work, they were so kind but it took us off guard as the management company failed to notify us of their planned visit. They were just maintaining their property, so no fault of theirs, but one would expect protocol would be to inform us of such a visit. The owners apologized for the lack of communication profusely. A few other small things to note; the front door lock seemingly would malfunction for a short amount of time before resolving itself. We did notice the lack of outdoor seating, WiFi was a bit spotty and I will admit I rewashed our bed sheets before using them after noticing a stain at the top of the fitted sheet. All this said, the home is amazing, the views were gorgeous and is in a spectacular area; close to anything you’d want to do. We enjoyed so many aspects of this property. Our only reason for bringing up the flaws were because for the price we did anticipate a little more ease to our stay even though we truly loved and enjoyed the place. . You’d be hard pressed to find anything comparable for the price and location.
