« Great little guest house, spotlessly clean.inly a short walk to the city center . The room had all the basic amienties we needed.the owner was really helpful and friendly.great value for money. Would definitely recommend. »

« The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. Access was easy using the door enrty codes provided. Wifi was good and easy to log onto. The Guest house was also vey quiet, with no disturbances. I used the breakfast room before I left, and ate granola, greek yoghurt and blueberries with a Coffee latte. These were dispensed from a vending machine, but were fresh and tasted lovely. Bowls, mugs and cuttlery were available. The staff I met were also friendly and chatty. I would highly recommend...

« Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. »

« Close to the train station, the beautiful gardens around the abbey ruins and the historic centre of York. Enjoyed the owners friendliness and warmth. Felt very much at home. Excellent breakfast too. »

« Everything was perfect. Except no plug in the sink and the water was very hot. So not able to mix water. Also not informed it was self check in till I got there . Easy once explained though »

« Friendly staff, clean hotel, excellent location (walking distance from the train station as well as from the Shambles and the Minster). Our only downfall was the construction work that was a but noisy in the morning, and the fact that the fan in the bathroom was not efficient (it would ger humid after a shower). Would recommend this hotel ! »
