We stayed here for the Blue Ridge Marathon. Location was so convenient to the downtown starting area. They had ice water right by the front door which was awesome to stay hydrated. The front desk staff was so helpful and fun. The two gentleman who checked us in on Friday were there when we got back from the race and were genuinely interested in how we did! Back in our room, the shower had the best water pressure ever and made our post-race shower the best experience. The beds were comfy with the squishiest pillows. The breakfast the next morning was very good but the waffles specifically were delicious. We were huge fans of the coffee!!! No one says hotel coffee is good but I am saying this hotel coffee was GREAT! We had an awesome experience at this hotel and will definitely stay again next year! The only downside I can think to mention is that the bathroom is a sensory nightmare if you hate loud noises. The fan is attached to the overhead light and it’s so loud, and the toilet flushing sounds like a rocket taking off. But if those are my only complaints, I’d say it’s a great hotel!

Room was large, clean and comfortable. However it was a bit difficult getting into and out of the tub/shower combination. Perhaps another safety bar might make this a bit easier and safer. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

The area isn’t the best but I still enjoyed my stay since the 3rd floor had a view of the mountain. The staff were super friendly, breakfast was hot, and there wasn’t a lot of noise. The whole place could use a renovation but for the price I was pretty happy.
