The staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered every question we had and followed through with every request. They greeted my children each time we walked through the door. The breakfast was plentiful with many options. The hotel location was conveniently located off the interstate. Although it is an “airport” location, there was minimal noise from the airport close by. The location was not in downtown Roanoke, but just on the outskirts. Would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Roanoke.

When checking in, another guest called 911 3x's... So I felt unsafe! The front desk person took flight attendants in before completing our 3 rooms. Our prepaid room (on our company cc) We had 3 rooms booked at the same time. We were on different floors. Each of us had to pay a $35 no refundable fee... Don't know for what or why??? My Room door had a note that said someone would have to access my room to measure for curtains at some point the next day. (Why couldn't this be done after I checked out by 12) The mattress was uncomfortable the pillows need to be replaced! The bathtub felt like I was laying on concreate and rocks.

I do apologize for the poor experience. The 35.00 does return to you card after your stay. It does depend on your bank when the funds are returned, usually 1-3 days. If you have not seen the funds returned, please contact me and I'd be happy to look into further.

Need Housekeeping Step Up
Housekeeping needs to step up a bit. We stayed here twice on the same trip. On the way down, room had no soap, no phone and no towels. On the way back, the room booked had no towels or soaps. In both cases, we called the front desk and went down and got the items.

My overall stay has been horrible. The level of customer service I received has be abysmal!!! Fire alarms blaring all day without prior notice. Room downgraded even after reserving online. Computer was down during check in 30 min wait. I could continue but why. Marriott here we come .

Quick trip to Virginia
Room was very nice. Breakfast was good. Had a little glitch checking in due to a new computer program but front desk person resolved the issue in about 20 minutes and got us into our room. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay there again.

The receptionist (Kendra) was welcoming and helpful. We appreciated her courtesy when she learned we would be leaving before the 6 a.m. start time for breakfast and made sure we had some treats in place of breakfast. Recommended as an inexpensive place near the Roanoke Airport. The Valley View Mall is also nearby with excellent restaurants around it.

Person checking in was great however I was told there would be a shuffle to the airport at 5 am thus I made my reservation however at check in I learned the shuttle won’t run until too late for making my flight!!! I spent extra to stay here and now have to pay to get a ride I was promised would be available. Not a happy camper!!!

We were assigned a room right across from where the maid equipment was stored, and starting at about 7 am there was excessive loud chatter and noises that sounded like they were right outside our door. We could not relax and ended up checking out early.

We arrived to our room in Roanoke va at Hampton in in room 330 we had no wash clothes we had no heat nor air the housekeeper was rude and didn’t speak English so she couldn’t understand nothing we wanted or said we spoke with the manager Rafael Cobo and nothing was done about none of it we usually have good service there but this time not at all

Our room was great except for 1 thing. The toilet was clogged when we arrived. We notified the front desk and then went to dinner when we returned we found a plunger in the bathroom and the toilet still clogged. We called to front desk several times and received different stories every time. They offered to move us to a different room but at 10:30 at night that wasn’t an option. The day manager couldn’t do anything on the price since I booked the through Expedia but comped us with points

The only 2 things that I did not like was the body gel container was missing and only 1 wash cloth and hand towel were provided.
