„It had a nice lounge area. The main bedroom is a little on the small size with not much room to get round the double bed and the bedding smelt musty. One bathroom for 3 bedrooms? Overall ok but probably would not stay again.“

„Wir haben das Hotel als Unterkunft während unserer Wanderung auf dem Cleveland Way genutzt. Positiv aufgefallen ist uns die sehr gepflegte Außenanlage. Im Hotel selbst wird aktuell umgebaut. Uns hat das für unseren Aufenthalt von einer Nacht nicht gestört. Das Zimmer war tadellos, das Restaurant vom Raum sehr schön und das Frühstück überaus reichhaltig. “

„The hotel was in a beautiful setting and really well decorated. Location is great and just a nice half hour walk to Whitby town. Staff were super helpful and friendly- particularly in the beach house and in the spa. The restaurant was ok. Food an bit overpriced and service wasn’t amazing- such as forgot our drinks a couple of times times and wine came after finished meal. Didn’t try food in beach house but looked nice. „it's a great location, with a marvelous view. right on the sea front, only a few minutes walk from the city centre. check in procedure was fast but very friendly. should have booked parking, but that was my fault. what i like are decent showers, with plenty of water pressure, which often is a real issue in hotels around the uk, no disappointment either. i had a great easter break, thank YOU !“

„For context. Stayed here after a Paul Weller concert. The hotel decided the appropriate price for a small double room the night should be £259.01 (excluding breakfast). I get that they were maximising their opportunity but....at best this is a £100-£125 per night hotel. „Compared to other hotels in Scarborough this one is a good choice. A friendly and professional welcome, a nice view, a large room. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The friendly receptionist is also a very good escalation manager and took the parking fee off the bill to make up for the noise.“
