We chose this house based on the photos and it lived up to our expectations. The house has a well stocked kitchen including a Henckles knife set (brand new, super sharp) and Emeril Lagasse cookware plus numerous other items. I was able to prepare any dish I desired (Iâm an amateur cook for over 40 years) so it was a great plus to have all the items and gadgets to make whatever I wanted. The house is located in an industrial area which was fine by us, plus it was not a well traveled road as one would think. There was no noise would could hear nor was there any real traffic going by. We chose this location based on the relative ease to get to the Mayo Clinic and we were staying for about a week and a half so it was important to have a short drive. It was so close, it took us 23 minutes to drive out of the driveway, drive to the clinic, park in the parking garage, go through security (we were checked every day since we had a backpack) and check in to the Chando building on the 8th floor. This by the way was done with getting a wheelchair out of the trunk, placing my wife in the chair and walking to our destination. The driveway was spacious enough to turn around in so that I just have the car ready to pull out. The home is close to Aldi, Walmart, Hy-vee (supermarket), liquor stores and numerous restaurants. I donât think anything was more than a half mile away. Jill was a great host and if I ever return to the area, this is the place I want to be. 5
