Well…we found our new annual winter-time family getaway spot on the Oregon Coast! This place checked all the boxes for us! We have a pretty high standard of clean, & this place was CLEAN. Easy check-in/out. Nicely updated little home, with cute dècor, EV charger outside near the front door, well-stocked kitchen (bowls, drip coffeemaker, potholders, etc), plenty of towels & bedding, boardgames, bluetooth speaker, wood-burning fireplace (bring your own Duraflame!), unbeatable ocean-front view, roomy bathroom vanity & shampoo/body wash/conditioner, and best of all - even though the property is pet-friendly, it did NOT have the smell of such (and we’re picky about this!). If I had to say anything about the very few downsides, it would be that there is no direct path from the property, down the big rocks, onto the beach - you have to walk down to the nearby Motel to use their stairs (not far - maybe about 5 houses away to the North). Some homes were able to “carve out” some stairs in the rocks, so just letting others know, this property does not have that. Also, check-out time should really be 11 like most everywhere we’ve ever stayed, not 10. Lastly, keep in mind that the house really *is* small - having only one bathroom, and the bedrooms are very small too - jussssst enough room around the sides of the beds to walk. For our family of 4 plus our dog though, it was perfect. Just thought some might like to know. We will DEFINITELY be back & wished we could’ve stayed longer!!
