Hotel Rockport

« The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool was out of order (and small), so my kids were bummed out. Breakfast was provided, not necessarily good, but was available in a pinch. Unless there was a town further south, this place is in the middle of nowhere, so don’t expect to be able to get a quick bite to eat or a drink. « Keys to the room continuously did not work properly, there was construction inside the building, trash cans overflowing at breakfast, etc. The only positive thing I can say was the front desk young lady was wonderful and tried her absolute best to make everything as accommodating as possible. »

« Hotel sits up on a hill in a quiet area, but has food and shopping near by. Great stay for one night while travelling. »

« If you love Christmas, you'll love this lodge! It really puts you in the holiday spirit. My grandson especially loved the fishing pond, and we all had a great time in the arcade. The lodge is a bit dated, and the beds weren't very comfortable, but the friendly staff and the great breakfast helped make up for it. Overall, it's a fun place to stay, especially if you're looking for a festive atmosphere. »

« Went into my room when I was at work. Claiming he smelled smoke and that was a lie. I was appalled to find this out. The whole place smells like an ashtray and not to mention checked me into a a dirty room but did change it. I was visiting for work but I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Don’t leave your belongings inside either. Obviously, it doesn’t matter if the do not disturb sign is on the door. Manager is shady!!! »

« Our bathroom was not cleaned and there were still dirty towels that were hanging on the wall, the back of the door, and over the shower curtain rod. There was a used soap in the shower with a piece of trash from an unknown container. This also made us worried for the fact that there could have been a possibility of our sheets not being clean. »

« This hotel was less than a year old, but pretty dirty. We had a room and the sofa bed was covered in food and hair- and the mattresses had no mattress pads. They did switch us rooms and it was slightly better. The bed linens were extremely wrinkled and filled with hair. It also looked dirty in the common areas for being so new. They seemed extremely understaffed. I would not stay here again. »

« Do NOT stay here. The staff/ownership are completely unhelpful and inflexible to the point of being verbally abusive. STAY AWAY! »

« It turned out better than I expected. The room was kinda dark, the bathroom was clean and work well as did the mini fridge. The air conditioning was awesome (I was there for Summer) and the tv was as well. The parking was good. I will stay here again when I return to visit my sister! »
