Just steps from the sea you can enjoy it for: swim, fish and snorkel.. The snorkeling and fishing at the property are excellent.

The island is not touristy at all and is very laid back. The beaches are absolutely beautiful and not crowded and the people are very helpful and kind- easy to make instant friends.

The property is connected to city water,..PLEASE NOTE :WE HAVE HOT WATER NOW for the shower.

*** if the weather is without sun for a few days, it will be necessary to adjust the electricity consumption until the sun returns.**** But we have the GENERATOR which takes over when the solar system is insufficient. For the air conditioning the generator must work. Because it requires too much consumption for the solar panels, we therefore recommend using it for the evening and at night for better comfort. Because during the day you will not need it because there is an excellent breeze and you will probably be exploring and discovering the wonderful beaches that the island has to offer.

The cabin is simply a simple shack on the beach and off the grid , and not a chain hotel. We our dedicated to making you feel at home in the jungle and providing a unique and unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a daily housekeeping service, guilt free water waste or just a place to sleep and store your 6 large rolling suitcases we highly suggest looking for a regular hotel.

**Please note: This is a remote island with LIMITED resources.

Take note that sometimes the internet and the electricity are out of service for a few hours on the island, due to bad weather or property repairs. What causes delays in our response time

Getting Here: Eleuthera has 3 airports We are located on Queens Highway about 15 minutes from Governors Harbour airport and about 30 minutes from North Elethera airport.
North Eleuthera International Airport (ELH) is just a 50-minute flight from Miami, and you can sink your toes into deserted, serene, whiteand pink sand beaches. ELH is easily accessible on direct flights from Nassau, Miami, Atlanta , Fort Lauderdale, . Customs are a breeze, and Eden place , Eleuthera, Bahamas is about a 35 minute drive away .

Rental cars - Most rental companies have a presence at the Airport or will park your rental in the airport parking lot to make it convenient for you. Advance reservations recommended to secure availability. Renters must be over 25 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license and a major credit card. Important keep left when driving. Driving is on the left in the Bahamas.Please do not hesitate contacting us via VRBO or directly if you need further information.

Are you a larger group? There are small cottages for rent near ours that we can refer you to and you can spend your days together on the large grounds and deserted beach of Eden Place, Eleuthera Bahamas.

*Complaints and Maintenance:
The Owner will make all reasonable efforts to keep the Property and facilities located within the Property in good working order and inventories in a reasonably sufficient amount. In the event there is a maintenance problem with any of the facilities located within the Property; the Owner will take all reasonable steps to repair the problem as soon as possible after being notified inwriting. No refund or rate adjustment will be made for unforeseen mechanical failures such as the supply of electricity, water, heater/, air conditioning, television/cable service, appliances, etc. It is the Renter’s responsibility to report any problems or damage immediately to the local property manager.

LOST ITEMS
Items left after departure are not the responsibility of the Homeowner. The Owner or their representatives will attempt to retrieve the reported items. If found, you will have the financial responsibility of these items being.

LINENS AND SUPPLIES.

One (1) set of bed linen per bed is provided for your stay, along with one set of bath towels, wash cloths, and hand towels per guest. A minimal supply of toilet paper, trash bags, and paper towels are also provided along with a basic start up supply of bath soaps, and dish soap. Bed Linen, bath towels, and start up toiletries are not replenished during your stay. For additional information on quantities please refer to our FAQ.
