We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The hotel is located close to Roma termini station (10-15 walk) but in a very quiet district with multiple dining options nearby. As such it is a very convenient location to explore the city. The hotel itself is old and one does notice that in the infrastructure (e.g. room furniture appears old and used etc.). BUT: the biggest surprise was the fantastic breakfast and restaurant/bar in the hotel which provided one of the best meals we had in Rome - and it is not more costly than other restaurants in the city. Staff is very friendly and did an excellent job. We would definitively stay there again!

Das Personal des Hotels ist super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Restaurantessen ist schmackhaft, das Frühstücksbuffett ist reichhaltig, wenn auch über die Tage etwas eintönig. In der Umgebung gibt es mehrere gute Restaurants, gleich um die Ecke Locanda di Bacco sehr zu empfehlen. Allerdings sollte das Hotel dringend renoviert werden, es ist doch in die Jahre gekommen und hätte es verdient.

Naja, ich wusste, dass es ein altes Hotel ist. Deswegen muss es aber nicht nach Mode riechen im Bad, auch 30 Minuten Wartezeit am Check in finde ich ziemlich lang das Personal war freundlich. Die Lage ist gut und zentral.

Due to the flood in certain areas me and my mother we're not able to attend our stay at Unaway hotel in Rome. We were stuck in an area called Cesena, where the flood was the worst. No trains or cars could go out of the area. We called the hotel and they were not understanding at all. We asked for a refund or maybe a voucher, but they offered nothing. We lost our vacation and all the money we spent on the hotel room (around 600 Euro) and didnt get anything back. I will never book this hotel or with Expedia ever again. We are shocked about this customer service and about this whole experience.

Das Hotel ist einfach empfehlenswert . Sehr gut gelegen für Städtetrip. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption oder beim Frühstücksaal sehr nett und hilfsbereit . Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und die Betten sind gemütlich.

Gute Lage zwischen M Termini und Barberini. Das Hotel ist aber in die Jahre gekommen. Auf der Schlafcouch (Zustellbett) kann man eigentlich nicht schlafen. Ansonsten ordentlicher und sauberer italienischer Standard.

Geht so....
Das Empire Palace liegt sehr günstig im Zentrum Roms . Wenn man gut zu Fuß ist , lassen sich z.B. Spanische Treppe oder Trevi Brunnen in ca 15 Minuten erreichen . Das Hotel macht einen guten Gesamteindruck . Die Lobby und die Bar sind sehr großzügig , leider sind dies die Zimmer nicht . 15 Qm sind doch ein bisschen wenig . Auch die Bäder sind sehr beengt . Der Wandschrank mit ca 60 Cm Breite ist sehr knapp bemessen , wenn man zu Zweit in der kalten Jahreszeit hier ist und entsprechende Kleidung dabei hat . Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit , ein Mitarbeiter der Rezeption spricht seht gut Deutsch , alle anderen gutes Englisch . Das Frühstück ist OK , normaler Standard .

Ruhiges Hotel in Gehreichweite zu Metro
Für einen Sightseeing-Trip in Rom sehr geeignet, da viele Sehenswürdigkeiten auch zu Fuß erreicht werden können, das Hotel in einer Nebenstraße aber dennoch vergleichsweise ruhig liegt. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sauber und funktional. Das Team am Empfang war immer freundlich und bemüht - es war z.B. schon ein Early Checkin vor 10:00 ohne Aufpreis möglich. Das Frühstücks-Buffet ist ausreichend und auf spezielle Diätwünsche wird eingegangen.

Gutes Hotel für Städteurlauber
Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Zu Fuß lassen sich alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichen. Die Hotelzimmer sind klein aber für die Übernachtung vollkommen ausreichend. Zimmer war sauber und Frühstücksbuffet für italienische Verhältnisse ausgiebig. Personal war sehr freundlich. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten, wie zum Beispiel die Badtür, waren nicht mehr im allerbesten Zustand und bedürfen einer Reparatur.

Schönes Hotel in ruhiger guter Lage
Wir waren zu Viert für einige Tage in Rom und waren mit der Wahl des Hotels alle sehr zufrieden. Es liegt sehr ruhig in einer kleineren Straße etwas abseits vom Rummel und doch nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß von der nächsten Metro und ca. 15 Minuten vom Piazza Espagna entfernt. Rund um das Hotel gibt es viele gute Restaurants, wo man hauptsächlich Italiener antrifft. Das Hotelpersonal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sehr sauber, leider etwas klein. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gut.

Tolles Hotel
Das Hotel hat eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Hotel liegt 10 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden jeder Zeit wieder dort übernachten.

Nettes zentral gelegenes Hotel
Gutes und sauberes Hotel in guter Lage (in Laufdistanz zum Bahnhof Roma Termini). Grundsätzlich alles gut gewesen, d.h. sauberes Zimmer und Bad, Einrichtung OK, Frühstück gut (super Cappuccino am Morgen!). Jedoch muss erwähnt werden, dass sowohl das Zimmer, als auch das Bad sehr sehr klein ausfallen und es entsprechend wenig Platz gibt.

My husband and I stayed two nights at this hotel, the staff was extraordinary especially Laila who went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable, she recommended so many dining options and gave us great tips to tour the city. The hotel is located in a quite area, however was very noisy at night because of loud music. The main attractions are not too close but still walkable. The AC in the room was terrible, it did not work well through out the night and the bathroom was very small. The breakfast buffet had limited options.

The staff could not have been more helpful. It was a lovely place beautiful room, very continental and the perfect feeling of being in Rome. If we were to return, I would certainly consider staying at this hotel again was very convenient to all the sites and I can’t say enough about the staff they were so very helpful for being in a foreign country.

I didn’t liked the eggs in the breakfast so no more breakfast at the hotel anymore. The AC is regulated by the government so in summer don’t expect to have a fresh room! Also my shower was terrible every day my bathroom was flooded! Staff was good and helpful.
