Wonderful time at Willow Beach!

We had a fantastic week at Willow Beach. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, and using the aqua pad and pedal boat. The weather was excellent and we used the grill several times and just enjoyed being outside on the beautiful property. We rented a boat for the day and enjoyed tubing and being out on the water. We also went to the Thirsty Owl and docked the boat there to have lunch. The fireworks display around the lake on the 4th was an added bonus. The wineries in the area were great and plentiful. We went to Goose Watch right across the street a few times and the owners were wonderful. Communication with Derek and Kelly was very easy and made the booking process and our stay very pleasant!

Willow Beach Getaway

Our stay at the Willow Beach home was perfect! The house itself was well appointed and the outdoor spaces and swimming area were beyond expectations! We enjoyed boating, swimming, cookouts, movie nights, as well as sight seeing, wine tastings, cheese tastings and boating to Dinners! Willow Beach was an A+ choice and great location on the West side of Cayuga Lake! We 100% recommend it for an awesome family vacay.

Overall, the house is very large inside and out. With 8 people you have more than enough space to not be on top of one another. Its a professional kitchen for anyone who enjoys cooking and also a large weber grill. The views are stunning. The property manager is very responsive which is a huge plus. Loved the outdoor space and access to the aqua pad. That was really fun. The only drawback was that it could have been cleaner. I would stay here again.

Really an Amazing Property

We had a wonderful stay at the house. Definitely got our workout being on the hill, but could not ask for a better view, and had a great time out on the beach. The amount of light in the house was really energizing. We booked the house before the kids in our family could walk, so we didn't really know better. It's not the most toddler friendly property just by the layout and architecture of the property, but the goats were very accommodating to whatever we needed. We made it work, but lots of steps, stairs and levels to be mindful of. The hosts were awesome, and very responsive. Overall a good experience.

Perfect Lakeside vacation

We LOVED our stay at this property. The hosts were wonderful and easy to communicate with, offered great recommendations for the area. The house is spacious and has everything we needed and more. The dock is gorgeous, and there is plenty of seating and space for fun. We enjoyed the kayaks, fishing, the pool table and campfire. An absolutely ideal vacation with our adult children - relaxing and fun. You can walk to the wineries, but the road outside the house is very busy, so not good for going for casual walks/jogs/walking the dog. We are considering coming back next year!

All about the view!

This beautiful lakeview home is all about the view! And, it also has great amenities. The kitchen is well appointed with high end appliances, all necessary items to prepare meals, and many pantry items. The butlers pantry includes an icemaker, an extra fridge, and two additional dishwasher drawers for large groups. Trashbags, dish soap and dishwasher pods were provided as well. We pre-ordered groceries from Wegmans in Geneva, and also had Wegmans delivered via DoorDash twice - order came in just a few hours. The many living areas are spacious and have modern, comfortable furniture. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of bath towels/washcloths supplied. Each bathroom was well supplied with toilet paper and hand soap. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms very clean. The outdoor furniture is in good shape, and the dock, screened porch and shaded seating were popular with our group. We didn't use the firepit, but there was plenty of firewood. The property managers were extremely helpful. Before our trip they gave suggestions based on our desired activities and offered several alternatives. We took their advice on spa and restaurants and were very pleased. There are several wineries very near by - one in easy walking distance just across the main road, and 2 less than 5 minutes away by car. They also responded very quickly to a couple of questions and there is a well documented property guide, complete with youtube instructional videos.

Family vacation on the lake

Our family, including a toddler and infant, enjoyed our week at the lake. Plenty of outdoor space for some quiet time as well as room for all 8 of us to be together. Coffee on the end of the dock, fire and s’mores by the lake after the kids went to bed. And lots of indoor space for a rainy day. Boat launch is only a mile away. The lake is huge and can get rough so we had to take the boat our most nights, but convenient as the launch was so close and free if you don’t park. We all had a great time.

Perfect location for a Finger Lakes vaca!

The absolute best part of this trip was by far the host, Kelly! She checked in with us when we got there and each day after. Even made some incredible suggestions of things to do, places to go, vineyards to check out, ice cream places and even a cheese place! House is very spacious and a unique layout. We enjoyed the large dock to go fishing off of and the kids went swimming with the lilypad that was available. We loved how the home felt very private away from neighbors. Kitchen was well stocked. Our family enjoyed the pool table, games and puzzles that were available. Our kids loved how large the driveway was to ride their bikes. If you like firmer beds, then you'll enjoy the beds here. Unfortunately, the paddle boat wasn't working and the washer/dryer combo took an absolute insane amount of time to do one load of laundry. I would recommend that the current cleaners come in and dust the entire house. There was an insane amount of dust under furniture, baseboards, picture frames - just everywhere. Still would give it a 5 star review and would stay here again! Location was wonderful!

Amazing stay at our favorite lake house!

We’ve stayed at this property twice now, and loved both visits. The house is modern, spacious, clean, and comes with every amenity you could wish for (e.g., fully supplied kitchen, extra fridge, wine fridge, ice machine, fireplace, gas grill, pool table, kayaks, etc.). And as you can see from the pictures, the views of the lake are absolutely stunning! I can’t recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a great place to gather family and friends to make some unforgettable memories on Cayuga lake.

Relaxing lakeside getaway

My family and I had a great time during our stay. Comfortable beds, beautiful views, multiple spaces for hanging out, entertaining and playing pool. The property also had different areas outdoors to relax and enjoy the lake, and we had fun getting out into the water using the two kayaks available. Plus Derek was a great host and very responsive when we had questions or were looking for recommendations on things to do in the area.

Beautiful house, exceptional outdoor space

Beautiful modern house with amazing views, decks, outdoor furniture and dock. Important to note that only 1 bedroom (master on main level) has an en-suite bath. Other bedrooms are downstairs and share 1 bath. (There is an additional full bath off the hallway on the main floor) 2 large common rooms with plenty of space for a group (we were three couples.) Nice kitchen and a butlers pantry with everything we needed. Easy communication with host and plenty of parking. Amazing location!

Mostly beautiful

The house is very beautiful. The public rooms are stunning and the house is right on Lake Cayuga. However, for such a beautiful house, the bedrooms were small, most had no dressers and the linens, pillows etc. were subpar. The outside areas (although full of spider webs, dead bugs etc.) were wonderful - shallow area to swim in and a kyack and paddleboat etc. to use. A few things were broken (toaster, shades in master bedroom, lights were out or flickered (and ceilings are too high for us to fix that)) - but most (other than the shades) were not a huge issue. The lights in the house were very confusing (how to turn them off and on - which switch was for which lights) as well as the temperature/HVAC system - more specific instructions would be helpful. Having a combined washer/dryer was a disappointment (it took hours to do one load which, in a vacation on a lake, is inconvenient).The biggest disappointment was the extreme difficulty in communicating with the manager, who asked that I communicate only via the VRBO website, and not email. As we had questions and needed some assistance, that was inappropriate and felt very unwelcoming. I would be happy to discuss this. With a little effort this outstanding property would be an even more wonderful rental.

Wonderful Week!

The beautiful home was incredibly spacious, and perfectly located on Cayuga Lake, close to several wineries, breweries and gorgeious hiking trails. Our hosts were prompt and excellent communicators both before and during our stay. The house and property had several seating/gathering areas and were both stocked with every supply and piece of equipment we could ever think to need or want. Our entire family had a wonderful week and enjoyed our entire vacation!

Outstanding Family Vacation!

This is the 2nd year we rented “Willow Beach” for our family of 5 adults and 4 young children and we had a blast! The house is perfect for us. Everyone has plenty of space to do their own thing and yet still come together for meals; watching TV; hanging on the deck; or sitting by the water. “Willow Beach” exceeded our expectations from a well stocked kitchen to the most comfortable furniture for chilling. The children had so much fun swimming, fishing, and exploring the beach for treasures. Of the many improvements made to the property we particularly liked the new kitchen table, chairs, and counter stools making it easier to move around. The new deck with glass railing is awesome for lake watching and the new deck furniture made it great for outside meals and lounging. We also found some goodies in the shed that we all enjoyed including a large floating mat and a huge inflatable island. Derek’s communications with us were top notch giving us the security that if we needed him for anything he’d would respond quickly. Thanks for helping us make wonderful family memories.

Great time

We had a great time. The house was great and the dock/lake were amazing. Fishing off the dock was pretty good, caught a number of smallmouth bass each day. The owners responded to all of our needs and questions very quickly. There are wineries and breweries close by. It’s a quick drive to places like Seneca Falls which was groceries and other stores.

The location and water access was lovely. The home is spacious and the owner is completing many projects throughout the property. The house needs an exterior power washing and there were cobwebs on the interior ceilings/fans. The gas fireplace emitted a strong gas smell and hvac system was hard to regulate. We enjoyed the unique layout and many games available. The firepit was amazing and well stocked with wood. Our family reunion and graduation was was enjoyed by all on this property.

Graduation Weekend

Booked this house for a long weekend a year before my daughter's law school graduation from Cornell so our family could relax and spend time together before the big event. The breathtaking view of the lake can be enjoyed from every room, the multiple level decks with various seating options, and the long pier on the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked; plates, utensils, pans, spices, everything! The Weber grill made outdoor cooking fast and easy and the fire pit made our nights fun as we enjoyed our wine and cheese platter overlooking the lake at night. The beds are extremely comfortable for a restful sleeping which we needed. We were lucky the weather was sunny and warm everyday but there is a game room in case it rains. Derek, the property manager, was very responsive to our needs even though it was the weekend. He was excellent! The owner was also responsive to our needs through Derek. Our stay was memorable and a perfect place to stay for graduation in May.

Wonderful house.

Our family just spent a long weekend in this house and would definitely recommend it. The location is perfect for wine tours and everything you need is close at hand. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The house is beautiful and spacious so everyone had space to relax. The kitchen is very well stocked, the bedrooms are a good size and all the bathrooms and showers were great. The lake view is magnificent and we loved sitting out on the Adirondack chairs watching the sunrise. We are already talking about coming back.
