We stayed in the area for an event. There were 3 couples, so it was really nice having 3 bathrooms, all with showers. the kitchen seemed very well stocked if you wanted to cook, but we did not have time for this trip. The house was very clean and well appointed. The lake and the view were great, but again, we couldn't take advantage of the lake toys, fire pit, etc. that were available. We wished we could stay longer!

Great Family Place

The property was a great place for our family. Well laid out, nicely decorated, plenty of indoor and outdoor space, with lots of activities. The beds were all comfortable, and the three season room was a total gem and our family’s favorite spot. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful home with all the amenities you could hope for! So so clean and an amazing relaxing vibe. Kevin and Karla were some of the best hosts I have interacted with. They were accommodating and so gracious.

Rush City cabin

The property was perfect for the 7 of us as there was plenty of space and was just as advertised. The property has been recently updated and was very nice. Lots of amenities. Everyone loved the three season porch and we spent a lot of time there. Cooking was made easy with all the modern kitchen equipment and nice appliances, The large yard made it easy and fun to play yard games.I would highly recommend this property for families that want plenty of space and a nice quiet neighborhood.

Fantastic property to bring family & friends

Our family enjoyed staying at the Lake home during our daughter’s wedding in Cambridge, MN. We enjoyed dinners, the view, the space and the location. It was chilly outside during our stay so we plan to return during warmer months. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Week of Family Memories...

Our family recently stayed at this incredible property while celebrating our daughter’s wedding at Creekside Farm, and it exceeded all expectations. The home was immaculate, spacious, and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. The property owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, showing great attention to detail in every aspect. We made so many wonderful family memories here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We stayed at the Amazing Lake House because it was close to my daughter’s wedding venue. What a fabulous lake house! The view of the lake is beautiful and the house is fabulous. Very clean and had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive and helpful when I contacted them with questions. A great place with all the amenities needed and the view of the lake is the best!

Best place to make memories

We have rented VRBO's many times but have never had a place with so may amenities as this pace they thought of everything inside and out! Would recommend this place very highly. Kevin was so easy to deal with. Great place to make wonderful family memories.

Beautiful Lake Side Stay

This well kept property hosted a group of friends and family who wanted to spend a weekend on the water. The house is laid out beautifully. The included amenities are helpful and of quality. The hosts even included a welcome basket with extra goodies! With the adverse weather and high water levels the host did their best to accommodate our stay and still made it possible for dock and water access! The front yard is big enough for yard games and fires in the evenings. The lake itself is a pleasant view. The host cleared a swimming area off the end of the dock which was useful. The lake is quite weedy. If your planning on fishing think top water, and target bass. Our group did have some luck. The location of this property is solid for Twin Cities residents. An hour drive to get you away, but not feel too long! Our vacation here was enjoyable and memorable. Thank you to our helpful hosts Karla and Kevin! Strong communication and always available for questions or concerns.

Amazing!

All I can say is that everything was absolutely perfect. This property is perfect for a summer family gathering. We had access to use the kayaks and water board and there was also a water pad for use if you wanted to go out and then swim. I used the sauna and it worked great. The house itself was absolutely beautiful and pristine. We had everything that we needed; pots and pans, dishes, silverware, and so much more. The cupboards were organized in a way that it was easy to find things. There are multiple bedrooms and sleeping options. The beds were very comfortable. Having three bathrooms with showers and tubs was awesome. There was never a line for the bathroom. The highlight of our trip I would say was fishing. We caught bass, northern, and sunnies. My husband caught a large northern probably about 2 feet. My son also caught a couple large northern unfortunately we didn’t get pictures of everything. Those are some slippery fish. We loved having the portable fire pit and also the grill was used multiple times. Kevin even set up fishing poles for us. One thing though to keep in mind is there are a lot of stairs to get to the back area and the lake. That being said my 85-year-old mother came and could get back there with assistance. She loved sitting on the deck and looking at the water as well. Karla and Kevin, were very communicative. They were great hosts. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this lake home vacation was for us and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful accommodations!!

This is a great home overlooking the lake. There were 11 of us and we all had a bed. The kitchen is fully stocked, including ice maker, crockpot, top of the line cookware, and beautiful appliances. The large deck looks over the lake and accommodated all of us. The location is great - so close to the cities. We certainly hope to stay there again.

June Wedding

My family and friends stayed here for my daughter’s wedding on nearby Rush Lake. The property was perfect - plenty of room for everyone! The big kitchen and family room was perfect for everyone to gather. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathrooms were great with plenty of towels. Many blankets throughout to make everyone comfy! Very cozy! We did not spend time outside but looked great! Highly recommend!

Amazing Family Experience

We recently stayed at this property with a large family group consisting of grandparents, parents, and kids and everyone had a great time! The hosts were available before the trip to answer any questions we had and when we arrived we found a welcome basket complete with smore's fixings, drinks, snacks, and bubbles for the kids. Such a nice touch! The kids had fun fishing off the dock and caught plenty of sunfish and a few northerns to keep them interested. The kitchen was well stocked and the open concept into the living and dining rooms was great so the designated cook for the meal could still be part of the group. We spent most of our time at the "cabin" as we called it, but ventured into Rush City to check out the bakery and garage sales and to Hinkley to visit the casino. The location is a great home base. We would definitely book again. Thanks so much to our hosts!
