„Property is lovely, a real home from home and the hosts have thought of everything you might need. Pet friendly. Local pub nearby and lots of lovely walks. Very friendly locals.“

„die Zimmer waren sauber “

„Nice hotel at great value. We had a 1 night stay with our dog and were very comfortable.“

„Freundliches Personal, zentral gelegen, ruhig, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Ich startete hier meine Wanderung auf dem Hadrians Wall Path. Gute Ausgangslage, nahe von Bahnhof (5min) und Busstationen (10min). Jederzeit wieder👍“

„A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities“

„The hotel was clean and the staff was really helpful. I had issues to program my keycard. So the staff had to do it for me. The room was clean and cosy, some coffee, a water, a Hair dryer and an iron were provided. The breakfast left no wishes unfulfilled.“

„This is the second time I have stayed at the Halston and it never fails to impress. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. It is like having your own apartment.“

„Room large and very clean. Lovely small hotel with a beautiful restaurant. Very quiet at night. Highly recommended “

„Das Zimmer war ok für eine Nacht. Wir waren aber froh, als wir wieder weg waren..... Alles in allem ein sehr komisches Hotel “

„Our stay was absolutely amazing! The spacious, clean, and refurbished room with a super comfortable bed was just what we needed. The full English breakfast had generous portions, and every meal was delicious. The staff were excellent, chatty, welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The atmosphere was fantastic! We loved every minute and can't wait to stay again. Highly recommended! 🤩✨“

„Ich war wegen eines Unfalls gehandicapt, Besitzerpaar hat sich sehr gut um und gekümmert, auch Auto eingeparkt, Frühstück maßgeschneidert, schönes Zimmer, sehr schöner Vorgarten, sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt“

„Unser Zimmer war schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. z.B. Alte Badewanne mit festem Duschkopf. Ansonsten sauber, ausreichend groß mit dem unausweichlichen Teppichboden. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück in Büffetform sehr gut und reichlich. Hoteleigene Bar auch gut. Hoteleigener Parkplatz vorhanden, aber kostenpflichtig.“

„We had a fantastic stay at The Old Rectory. Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was the most comfortable we had in a 3 week tour of the UK! The host, Dave was lovely. So helpful in recommending local sights, and made a wonderful breakfast and coffee in the morning. The location was fantastic as well, Easy to walk to the High Street, beautiful bridge and walking trails, Annan museum, and restaurants etc. Thank you!“
