« On first arrival the cottage was lovely; a bit quirky but looked as if it would meet our needs. However, considering the cottage slept quite at least 8 adults there wasn’t enough seating in the TV room to accommodate that many. The TV did not have BBC channels so we couldn’t watch Strictly on the Saturday! A smart TV would be better as many people have subscriptions to streaming services. Also the TV in the big bedroom but want connect by aerial; there was an aerial but it was too short to reach...

« We had a wonderful stay in this stylish, clean, well equipped comfortable home. It had everything we needed. The card and welcome pack were much appreciated and enjoyed; a lovely touch. The house is centrally located and only a few minutes from the town and (fairly steep hills and lots of steps) and beaches. The walk to North sands is lovely, and no need to take the car! Fab food locally, and plenty to do without straying too far. The hosts, Lou and Will were very helpful and responsive - great...

« This property was perfect for 8 people. Plenty of room. Great fire place. Hosts were always on hand snd helpful. Location. In the heart of salcombe but when sitting in the garden it feels very secluded. So best of both worlds. Looking forward to staying again »

« I’m almost loathed to provide this review in case the house becomes so popular we can’t book it again. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and perhaps the most quintessentially English view I have ever seen, with the sea to your left and the national parks protected valley to your right. A few mins walk to north sands means you have the beach on your doorstep and an easy walk into town or south sands gives you the perfect location. If I had any suggestions it would be an upgrade to the...
