„What’s not to like. I needed an inexpensive place to stay for business. The road to the lodge is up a small country lane. You pass the lodge on your left in front of you and park up there if can. You check in at the health club which is about 100 metres up the road. Staff are very friendly and helpful at check in. Room was not what I expected as it’s part of the old lodge so lots of windows! But black out blinds worked well! but was really spacious and the bathroom. Was very new and clean. ...

„We booked this property in Fordingbridge since it was a reasonably short drive from Southampton (prior to our cruise). The plan was to spend 3 days in SW England (Bath, Stonehenge, etc.) and take in the charm of a small village. We had to pay £50 extra for this but it was worth it as the children aged 4 and 6 went in twice a day. We stayed here to visit Poultons Park which was also a great day out for the family. „Alles in allem hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Das Cottage ist klein und windschief, wie es bei so alten Häusern nunmal der Fall ist. Heizung funktioniert gut und praktisch war auch die ebenerdige Dusche. Alles natürlich ein wenig verwinkelt, vor allem das Badezimmer, aber sowas wurde ja nunmal erst viel später nachträglich eingebaut. Die Möbel waren leider alt und muffig. Mit schöner neuer Inneneinrichtung im Landhausstil könnte man viel mehr aus dem Cottage machen.“
