The apartment is walkable to dining and shopping. The street is steep and the nearby medievale hill town is steeper. While we loved walking up to the hill town everyday, we liked the variety of dining and shopping near the apartment. »

« This was a modern, like-new apartment on the ground floor of a house. It seems there was a family - probably the owner of our unit - above us, but we never saw them or heard them. The house stood on a hill surrounded by vineyards. The view was awesome in every direction! »

« We selected Siena as our starting point for our hike on the via francigenia to Roma. This was a great property for us to acclimate to Italy. We had a bit of a walk to get down into the city but it was great to prep us for our long pilgrimage. We got see a Palio race and it was great time to be in Siena. The accommodations were spectacular. The weather was hot but the ceiling fans on high kept us cool at night and we slept well. Thanks for making our via francigenia starting point so wonderful. »
