„The check in was easy. We appreciated the fenced yard as we had children with us so it made us feel a smidge safer. Easy to get to the best parts of town like the highway and the market. We were there for a short time so we did not get to use the kitchen amenities but we appreciated all the things they had that we could use.“

„I originally had some hesitation after reading older reviews, but I’m so glad we went ahead with this stay. The host has clearly listened to feedback and made amazing upgrades. Now all the bedrooms have air conditioning, which made a huge difference—everyone slept comfortably even in the summer heat. They also added a water heater, so we enjoyed nice hot showers whenever we wanted, and we had absolutely no issues with the toilets during our stay.Overall, this home far exceeded our expectations. ...

„Cohune Palms is just what we were hoping for. The property is really lovingly maintained. The staff are really warm and accommodating- Ms. Nellie's cooking was just perfect after long days of tours! The cabins are not posh but not supposed to be- and it was HOT in there, we ended up asking for additional fans in the evening- but they were clean, and had everything we needed. „This was the adventure we were hoping for! We visited with our teens (14 and 16). It is such a beautiful location and we really enjoyed seeing wildlife up close! We saw agouti, river otters, howler monkeys, bats, toucans, and several other beautiful birds during our stay. The rope swing and being able to get in the river was very nice. Mike and the ladies at Cohune are so nice! Mike is very knowledgeable about the area and is happy to share. The food was also amazing! Highly recommend breakfast ...

„Mike and Melanie make you feel part of the family. They always make sure you are having a good time and are willing to help make your experience better. The tranquil setting of the jungle cabanas was exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. Also, coming back from a day of excursions to Melanie’s amazing home cooked meals was the perfect way to end the day.“
