Ich habe mich noch nie so unwohl in einem Hotel gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr schön. Aber das Personal ist schrecklich. Es hat dem Zimmerservice 2h gebracht um mir einen einfachen Burger zu bringen. Dann musste ich auch noch dafür dass Ich warten musste extra Service Gebühren zahlen. Draußen in der Bar musste ich 30 Minuten warten bis ein Kellner zu mir kam. Das witzige dabei war nach mir kamen direkte 2 Anzugträger raus die sofort bedient worden sind. Die Dame am Empfang die mich eigentlich hätte begrüßen sollen an meiner Ankunft, war mehr als nur erkältet dazu war sie auch sehr unhöflich. Es kam kein hallo oder gute Anreise gehabt, ein es hieß sofort „passport“ nach dem Katastrophalen Check-in wurde mir nicht mal angeboten bei meinem Gepäck zu helfen. Diese Hilfe hätte ich echt besuchen können. Ich bin mehr als nur enttäuscht vom Hilton und hätte am liebsten mein Geld komplett zurück!

Tolles Hotel mit grandiosem Blick auf San José
Das Hilton San Jose La Sabana ist ein ganz neues Haus, 2021 eröffnet. Demzufolge ist auch der gesamte technische Zustand perfekt und auf dem neuesten Stand. Auch die Freundlichkeit und der Service der Mitarbeiter sind hervorragend. Egal, ob beim Check-in, beim Frühstück, an der Bar oder im Conciergebereich: Man fühlt sich rundum gut aufgehoben! Es gibt aber einige kleine Mängel, die ich in einem Hause dieser Kategorie nicht erwartet hätte: Die bereits bezahlte Buchung über hotels.com war so nicht eingegangen, sondern nur eine einfache Reservierung. Eine Abgabe von Karten für die Post war erst nach längerer Diskussion möglich. Und eine Aufbewahrung von Reisegepäck für eine Woche zwischen zwei Buchungen des Hotels war gar nicht möglich. Ich habe den Eindruck, dies liegt nicht an den Mitarbeitern, sondern ist einfach in der Hotelpolicy (noch) nirgends vorgesehen. Schade, aber deshalb nur 9 von 10 Punkten.

I like the gym and the swimming pool. Very clean. The steam room was an added bonus. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with lots of options. Our room was also good except for it is not soundproof as we can hear the Karaoke bar from outside and we were in the second floor. It was quite after 11pm. The view from our room was amazing ( the soccer stadium and the mountains). I think the housekeepers need to be trained to separate the dirty linens and towels from the clean ones as I saw one housekeeper piled up the dirty linens on top of the linen cart next to the clean towels. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Overall, our stay was Wonderful . Thank you!

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful, walkable part of San Jose. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offered a spectacular view, and so too, having drinks on the terrace overlooking La Sabana Park. If I had realized how beautiful this property was when booking it, I would have stayed a few more days.

Great Welcoming, Great Stay
We arrived to a welcome verifying we are at the correct Hilton and then escorted through check in and to our room with our luggage in tow. The hotel is new and everything is top notch. The food is tasty in the restaurant & the wine selection is better than most in Costa Rica. We walked the neighborhood in the morning and found it a quaint and loaded with shops and a wide variety of restaurants. We will definitely return in our next visit to Costa Rica!

El lugar es bonito y moderno, reservamos una habitación superior a la estándar con vista al Estadio Nacional en el piso 28… no obstante, no me gusto que no ofrece parqueo y hay pocas amenidades en la habitación (no hay gorras de baño, ni aplicadores, y otras cosas básicas que hoteles de menor calidad y prestigio si ofrecen)

This hotel is in the perfect area of San Jose. There’s small shops within walking distance as well as restaurants. If you have a car, parking is a breeze with valet and self park options. The views from the rooms, the pool, and the restaurant within the hotel are gorgeous. I would definitely stay here again!
