Für den Preis und die Lage ein wirklich super Hotel mit sehr höflichen und netten Angestellten. Frühstück und Pool mit Innenhof waren wunderhübsch.

Great place for a stopover between flights or before your flight from SJO. Very well-maintained property with clean and state-of-the-art rooms. Hotel Mango includes parking and a private Italian restaurant, which we can recommend. Airport transfer works hustle-free and the complementary breakfast is good as well.

Sehr gutes Team und tolles Hotel
Das Team war außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Problem mit der Abholung unseres Mietwagens wurde sehr schnell gelöst Rundherum ein toller Aufenthalt.

Hotel für eine Nacht war super. Nähe zum Flughafen, sauber, freundlich, sogar einen kleinen Pool. Was etwas nervig war, dass das Hotel direkt an der Hauptstraße liegt, auch die Bahn geht wohl am Hotel vorbei-leider nicht lautlos-, vor allem morgens ab 04:00h. Flughafen tat sein weiteres die Nacht durch.

Außenanlage liebevoll dekoriert. Ein schöner Ort. Die Flughafennähe ist aber wirklich zu hören, teilweise auch zu spüren. Für eine Nacht wirklich toll, länger muss man aber nicht bleiben. Frühstück war auch gut.

Hotel transports to Airport but does not pick up. A cab to the hotel is easy. The car rental place picked us up the next day. Easy.

This is a nice place to stay close to the airport. With it being so close to the airport it is very easy to hear the airplanes taking off and landing. Also if you like to sleep in then this might not be the place for you as the staff arrive early (6am) and start making noise. They are all very helpful and the property is kept looking nice.

Very noisy with street traffic, planes and trains. The beds are hard. Most of the staff were nice and helpful. Driving in this area was very stressful if not use to Costa Rica driving.

I did not actually stay here. Within 10 minutes of placing my reservation online, I tried to cancel. I realize that it was non-refundable, but seriously within minutes they would not make an exception. There was a legitimate reason for my change a plans. I didn’t change to another location, I couldn’t make the trip due to a circumstance that presented itself with in minutes of hitting “send.” So, in short, I will never stay at this hotel, which is unfortunate, since it appears to be a great place.

Hotel Mango is a wonderful little local property, despite being very close to the end of the runway at the airport. It is clean, extremely functional, comfortable, great staff and has an awesome little courtyard with a pool and a super cute restaurant/bar. You can get breakfast to go if you have an early flight. It is a refreshing break from the chain hotels.

I only stayed a night in-between flights, but found the hotel pleasant with good food! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Almost wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy their outside area. Only downside is because it is so close to the airport (and along the flight path) there is noise.

The young guy at check in was soooo polite and friendly. The little restaurant was great. The hotel is so clean and quaint. Bed was comfortable. It was great for an overnight before our early 6am flight. The shuttle at 3am was on time and they had coffee and cookies out for us. Overall great experience!

I spent at least an hour trying to figure out how to enter the hotel. It has a narrow gated entry in a brick wall on a very busy street. Coming from the wrong direction it is nearly impossible to turn into the gate and there is not a place to turn around for at least a mile. No instructions were given that we should turn into the entrance and honk to get the gate open. Once we were inside, the hotel was surprisingly nice though the room was sparse and undecorated. The flight departure path was right over the hotel and pretty noisy starting at 5 am. Good breakfast and coffee provided. Very convenient to the airport and rental car return agencies.
