« Very nice propery between Durango and Purgatory. Well furnished with beautiful views and nice amenities including the hot tub. Easy access to the road. There are stairs to access the home, but that was not an issue for us. Overall, very pleased with this choice. We will definitely stay again. »

« Nice layout but the second upstairs bathroom is a giant bathtub with shower curtains. I would consider redoing this layout and removing the giant bathtub and just installing a nice modern shower. The area is beatiful not far from a lake. We got to watch people doing ice fishing. Overall great experience. . »

« We had a great time staying on Lake Pagosa. It was close to a lot of great trails and things to do with my family. It was nice to come back to the house after a long day of hiking and just sit on the porch and enjoy the evening. We rented the kayaks they offered at the property and we had a great time on the lake. »

« We really enjoyed this property. The home was spacious allowing plenty of room for all ten of us. The game room was a great gathering space. Dining area was large enough for all of us to eat and play games together. Easy drive in to both Bayfield and Durango. And very close to Vallecito Lake. Would definitely recommend this property. »

« Overall a great place to stay. Pros - The cabin is in a great location on the Vallecito Creek. While a bit isolated at roughly 45 minutes to Durango, it is ideal if you are looking for a quiet place with space to roam, and lower temperatures. The sound of the creek, the ability for the kids to float down the creek a few hundred yards, and the hummingbirds, deer, foxes and other wildlife were what we came to experience. There is not an indoor dining table, but the long deck facing the creek...

« We had a wonderful time in the Red Ryder cabin. The wood stove really warmed the place up. The giant open room is perfect for hanging out together. As promised, my youngest loved making the loft her space. My husband ran around the forest in back and we all lived having just a 20 minute drive to Wolf Creek. »
