Besonders die Freundlichkeit des Personals hat mir gut gefallen. Es ist eine kleine Pension mit 10 Zimmern, klein aber fein und für einen kurzen Urlaub ideal. Die Schall- und Lichtisolierung sind gut. Ich hatte das Zimmer 10 direkt neben dem Eingang, wurde aber nicht besonders gestört vom Durchgangsverkehr, war allerdings auch tagsüber unterwegs. San Sebastián ist eine Reise wert. Zwar touristisch, aber kaum von Deutschen entdeckt. Ich möchte hier auch Schleichwerbung einfließen lassen und über 3 bedondere Läden berichten: 1. Den Bonbon-Laden Gartarte auf der Calle Puerto 3 in der Altstadt 2. Die Pintxos-Bar Baztan auf der Calle Puerto 8 und 3. Das Café gegenüber vom Rathaus. Die Eisdiele daneben hat mich leider nicht überzeugt. Ansonsten hat diese kleine Stadt Unmengen anzubieten, einfach losziehen und auf sich wirken lassen!

Schönes Hotel in Strandnähe
Hotel in toller Lage, Strand ist fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen, viele Restaurants in Umgebung, nettes Personal und schönes, sauberes Zimmer. Das Wlan ist auch super. Einziges Manko ist, dass es hellhörig ist, hat aber dem Urlaub keinen Abbruch getan. Empfehlung von mir!

Perfekt für einen Kurzaufenthalt in San Sebastian
Pension Aldemar ist perfekt für einen Kurzbesuch in San Sebastian. Geräumige, komfortable, neue Zimmer, sauberes Bad mit ausgezeichneten Seifen und Gels, ruhig und hell. Die Lage am Rande der Altstadt ist unschlagbar. Wenige Minuten zu Fuß zu den nettesten Lokalen und doch in ruhiger Lage. Das Personal ist hilfreich, freundlich und effizient. Gleich nach meiner Buchung bekam ich einen Anruf von der Rezeption mit hilfreichen Informationen über Parkmöglichkeiten und Anreise. Auch die Lokaltipps waren von bester Qualität. Wunderbar!

Sweet boutique hotel! Spotless clean, the Aldamar has a nice coffee bar where you can get complimentary coffee, latte or hot tea. Conveniently located to many restaurants and just blocks from the water.

The staff were excellent, very helpful with directions and dining options. The location of the property was very central and walkable with lots of shopping and dining options close by. The only negative was the condition of the bathroom. The grout and caulking were full of black mold.

Aldamar is very conveniently located across the street from the entrance to the old town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is an elevator, which was very helpful to me, as I had bad knees. The room is clean and has a balcony. We had a great time!

In all the places we stayed on our trip to Spain this location had by far the best customer service. Super helpful staff provided us with a map, made us dinner reservations and were always so happy. A perfect central location near beach, attractions, shopping and dining. The complimentary coffee was such a treat. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Room is equipped with everything you need including a fan!

We had a fabulous stay at Aldamar. We booked the slightly bigger room with a little sitting area & it was fantastic as we had our little boy with us and a pram. The location was excellent a few mins walk to Constitution square and some fabulous pintxos bars. We basically ate our way through San Sebastián. There’s even a great little pintxos bar downstairs from Aldamar. If you’re getting picked up or dropped off by taxi, parking is a little hard all over San Sebastián in general.

Conveniently located guestrooms
Stayed for three nights with family in a junior suite where they set up a twin bed for my daughter in the same room. Room quite cramped due to extra bed but not unexpected in city center. Very convenient location to old town, beach, port, etc with walking to everything. Great coffee machine outside the room. It’s a guest hotel without full hotel type services which is fine for us. There is even elevator for luggage. Air conditioning and shower worked well. Favorite part of window looking out to the street so even when resting in the room, can watch the world go by. Free water and soft drinks in the mini fridge is nice touch.

We loved this place. We like small quant places and this was perfect. Pension takes one floor in a large building. Our room was small which might be tight with big luggage but our two large backpacks fit in the closet. They had nice thick towels and wonderful boutique style soap and hair products. AC and hot water worked great. They have a coffee area so you can start your day with an espresso. Staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful, marking restaurants and bars on our map. They even looked up a laundromat for us. The staff is not there 24 hours, however they were able to arrange a taxi the night before for our early check-out the next morning. Taxi was right on time. Taxi ride to train station is less than 10 minutes. Location was great. Close to the Hop on hop off bus location up on the main road along the Urumea River. Close to bars and restaurants. Easy walk to the beach. Close to the bridge that leads over to the Gros neighborhood.
