« Trains, River, and Mountain view with enough room for a five-person family, and updated cold air conditioning and kitchen. The location is nice for deploying by car across the New River Gorge region. In West Virginia fashion, expect 3-7 coal trains a night at the nearby double crossing. Their horns can be startling if you’re a light sleeper. Our kids didn’t mind at all and loved the trains. Even the Amtrak Cardinal line runs through 3x a week at 10:30 am. The owner instantly approved our request...

I sleep hot so the light blanket was nice but would recommend bringing extra blankets if you get cold at night.The shower in the big bathroom was a little confusing but we figured it out just pull the bath nozzle. Very nice location easy to get to and easy to find and get back on the interstate. »
