Leider gab es MissverstĂ€ndnisse mit dem Zimmerpreis; der Hotelier wollte den reduzierten Expediapreis nicht akzeptieren. Mit UnterstĂŒtzung von Expedia konnte das Problem gelöst werden.

Zentral, in der Altstadt, gelegenes Boutique Hotel. Wunderbare Terrasse mit kleinem Pool. Äusserst freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Top Preis-Leistungs-VerhĂ€ltnis. Auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen.

Super nice Hotel and staff

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at the hotel. Rooms are modern an very clean, the hotel has a little pool and sunroof which allows for a quiet day off without having to travel to the beach. If I was to return to Santa Marta I would definitely try to chose this again.

Perfektes Hotel mitten in Santa Marta

Wir haben uns gefĂŒhlt wie zu Hause - nur besser! Die gesamte Mannschaft ist extrem hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind hĂŒbsch, groß und in Top-Zustand. Die Dachterasse ist extrem entspannt - mit HĂ€ngematten und kleinem Pool! Die Lage ist super zentral!

Perfect location. Great staff and easy access to everything. Boutique hotel with many charming years. Love it and will go back next time. Music in the area is quite high but ends at 2200 so no problem sleeping.

Es un Hotel Boutique muy bonito. Las habitaciones dentro de lo esperado en una zona de costa con su climatizador y ventilador de lĂĄmpara o abanico. En l habitaciĂłn que nos asignaron el aire acondicionado no sirviĂł y de inmediato nos cambiaron a una habitaciĂłn incluso de mayor categorĂ­a. El desayuno delicioso, y quienes te atienden son muy amables. El personal en general es sumamente amable, sobretodo la Gerente del Hotel, sin duda si regreso algĂșn dĂ­a a Santa Marta, regresarĂ­a a este Hotel. Gracias!!’

The hotel was in a great location, fabulous service, comfortable rooms and a generous breakfast. Andres who with his family built this hotel. The rooftop pool is wonderful and at the end of a fun filed day you can enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine. Andres was there every moment to help us make our plans to see Santa Marta and the area. Strongly recommended- best service during our trip

This was the best hotel during our trip to Colombia. The room is very clean, comfortable and the shower has hot water. We needed to leave earlier than the starting time for breakfast and the staff prepared an early breakfast with toast, coffee and juice only for us. They were very friendly and helpful. If we go back to Santa Marta I will definitely stay there again.

La Calzada...a great find in Santa Marta

We booked a balcony room for one night. Added a night. Then 5 more nights. La Calzada was a wonderful place to unpack our suitcases for so many reasons. The 4 levels, plus a lookout tower. The hammocks, the small pool, two blocks from the beach (and it's a nicer beach then the reviews! Way better than Taganga). But the best part of this hotel is the employees. They are kind, friendly, helpful...and the women in the kitchen cooked us a wonderful breakfast every day. After a week of busy moving around, settling at La Calzada was a beautiful find. It's close to some great restaurants, yet wasn't too loud, and close to several parks. And then there was the reasonable price.

Lovely

The hotel is very well located. It’s traditional rather then modern luxury and the staff are really lovely. If your considering taking day trips make sure you book with them or with one of the close by agencies as the sales people at the marina will rip you off. Some trips leave early so book at least the eve before if you can. We didn’t hear noise in our room at all. The roof is a nice to have, they don’t have staff or a bar up there but it’s perfect to take your own drinks, relax and enjoy a fantastic view with a dip.

Great location in old center

Wonderful staff and great breakfast just a couple of blocks from water and a block to street full of buskers and restaurants. I was able to fill my water bottle up every day for free.

They went WAY out of their way!

We knew ahead of time that, due to a European wedding, they could only accommodate us the 1st 3 of our 5 nights: they checked on several, walked with us to another quite near, then offered us breakfast without cost if we'd come back by.

This is not a luxury hotel, but rather clean and friendly place that you can be close to all the restaurants. Staff are nice and helped us even though we don’t speak Spanish and they don’t speak English. We came across an issue as far as payment which was hotels.com fault and the hotel staff honored the price that was advertised, really nice of them. Usually during New Years everything is higher priced, but apparently on hotels.com that was not changed and we paid the regular price. Hotel told us about the issue but didn’t ask us to pay more, and honored the price we booked which was 50% less.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Santa Marta, about a block from the down really bi e restaurants and a few more from Parque de los Novios where there are even more nice restaurants and bars. The hotel is beautiful and has a lovely rooftop with a pool. The staff were lovely and super helpful with recommendations and arranging tours. Breakfast of tropical fruit, eggs, toast and coffee really got the day started right. Nicest hotel I stayed at in Colombia!
