We stayed at this beach duplex recently and had a good experience overall. The location was great—close to the beach and convenient to everything we needed. The house itself was spacious and had plenty of room for our group. We did receive a call during our stay about setting the air conditioning too low, which was a bit unexpected, but we adjusted as requested. Overall, a comfortable place in a great spot.

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay. We have stayed in this exact place 20 years ago so we knew the area well. We were able to rent a golf cart down the road which made beach days easy. The walk to the beach is not far, but when you have to carry ALL the beach stuff a golf cart was a must. Great location to several restaurants and shopping. No complaints!

Absolutely amazing Beach home away from home !!!

It was just as described and way big enough for our family of six. Having the four individual bathrooms was a plus too. Everything worked and the place was spotless. The public access to the beach was very close within a 10 minute walking distance The location of the property was beautiful, very quiet and provided a very relaxing stay.. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay there again ourselves if we ever traveled to that particular location.

Summer trip

We loved our stay at Sea La Vie. Condo was very clean and meet all of our expectations. Neighborhood was quiet and convenient to beach. The pictures are exactly what the condo looks like. Loved the inside! One request to owner is to replace grill on back deck. It was filthy and unusable. And only wish was coffee shops/shops in walking distance, felt like we had to drive to cute towns on 30A. This condo was perfect for our needs and we had a very relaxing stay!

Enjoyed our stay! Here’s why…

We enjoyed our time in this townhome the past week! The bedrooms and living room are even better and more comfortable than the photos communicate! We slept well- beds are firm. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean (but will need updated tile, appliances, toilets, etc in very near future to stay current and help some overall plumb issues in the house). But again- everything was VERY clean and bright white and plenty of towels and hand soap available! The living areas, bedrooms, and downstairs studio space have ample space and allow for multi-generational or multiple families to use. The porches are big and nice for reading and sipping coffee outside. The kitchen could use some better pots and pans. We enjoy cooking and the pots were a little difficult to use because they were made from inexpensive materials. Just fyi, there is no Keurig. So bring your own fresh ground coffee for the regular coffee pot! We rented a golf cart and used that most of the week… just a 5 min ride to the two very close Dune Allen beach access options. Stinkys Fish Camp is our family’s favorite restaurant right across from the beach access! Great donuts at Donut Hole on 98. Try Black Bear coffee on 98 or the location in Grayton Beach for stellar coffee, bread, pastries, etc. We did not utilize the pool or lake but they made for nice views! Overall, we would stay here again! (Especially if owners would allow guests to control the AC temps fully. It was preset and there were a few times we needed to turn the air down as the house got too warm and couldn’t.) Really made great memories here…. your family will too!

Great home in a great location!

We visited this beach condo with one set of grandparents, parents, and 2 children for Fall Break. The condo was very clean and was even better in person than in the photos! My kids were thrilled to find the house had puzzles, games, books, and a small amount of outside gear/toys. It was a quick (less than 5 minute) walk to the beach access. We found the beach access nearest the house to be the least crowded of several nearby when we were there mid October. The condo is located in a great spot near many restaurants (Stinky's, Shunk Gulley, Pecan Jacks) and close to the grocery stores. The neighborhood was very well kept--the pool was nice and warm, and the lake was so beautiful! My son tried to fish one day without any luck. The kitchen was well stocked for when we cooked meals. The beds were firm, but comfortable. The only thing I'd recommend to the owners would be to add curtains in the master bedroom--the street lights shine through the cracks in the blinds at night. We had a GREAT stay--Perfect Fall weekend getaway! Cannot wait to visit again!

Good place for a large group

Overall our stay was fine. The condo is just a 5 min walk to the beach. There are 3 levels as mentioned on the site. My husband and I stayed on the bottom level. When we got there, we were so happy we choose that specific room until my husband started doing his usual sanitizing routine. There were roaches crawling downstairs. He killed 4 that night and a few more during our stay. The property manager did come over and spray, but we still killed a few after that. I believe it was because of the kitchenette area. Needless to say, we didn’t do any eating or cooking downstairs. The rest of our party from the 2nd level and 3rd level had an amazing stay. There is a soundbar that’s hooked to the 2nd level(main level) TV. Please disconnect it. We didn’t have it up at all but we were still contacted by property manager(who was very nice) to cut it down. The neighbor next door complained. All in all we had a great stay.

Perfect!

Our stay at this Dune Allen property was amazing. The house was very clean, modern & cute. Very short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again! Maintenance was also extremely accommodating. I believe we only had one small issue and the lady immediately came fix it. :)
