Gut: Sauberkeit
The room where we stayed was beautiful and we especially enjoyed the private courtyard. The courtyard was a very nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee and light breakfast in the morning. Having a small refrigerator and microwave in the room was great. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was very spacious. We loved the stone walls, and the historic feel of the inn. The use of the laundry room was very much appreciated, especially since we had to wash our towels during the week.The road noise was significant, even with their noise machine, my nose machine and ear plugs. I think they need thick curtains on all of the windows. There are so many hard surfaces in the room and not enough soft surfaces to dampen the sound. There is a good amount of hanging space but it would also help to have a dresser with some drawers for clothing so guests don’t have to live out of their suitcases. Finally, a better in-room coffee maker is needed in order to brew a decent cup of coffee.The housekeeper only left 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, and one wash cloth for two people for a week. Two of everything should always be a minimum. I requested more towels, and they did leave some the next day, I was glad they were responsive.
